“A little slice of Heaven” With my husband in and out of the country for deployments it was high time for a much needed family vacation. From the time we walked into the gates at Casa Colonial till the time we left we felt welcomed and at home. The property is beautiful and Sarah is great at giving you all the right info on local spots so you don't get caught up in the tourist traps. Our favorite restaurants were El Pique on avenida 30th--cheap and fabulous!! And La Cocay between Calle 8th and 10th--**try the french toast**!! The turtles at the villas were almost like having our dogs around-which made the kids happy. Not to mention the beautiful garden where "Harmou" the iguana lives by the pool. My kids have missed Casa Colonial since we left, Sullivan (my son) asks about the turtles all the time and McKayla already wants to know when we're going back. After seeing the other options of where to stay on the island and after staying at Casa there would be no other option for me. Casa Colonial was perfect!!!

“Stylish Comfort, Wonderful People, Affordable.” I came to Cozumel for the first time in 2006, stayed at Summer Place Inn and was enchanted with the entire experience. It is beautiful, well maintained and very affordable and close to everything. There is a beautiful kitchen and pool and I was able to cook and entertain as if I were at home. I was so pleased that I stayed over a month and have since made Cozumel my home. The owners of Summer Place Inn are very hospitable and helpful and have only made the property more lovely since then. I highly reccommend this property for your stay in Cozumel.

“A Piece of Paradise” My wife and I along with our 10 year old daughter stayed at Casa del Perro Feliz over the New Year with another couple and their two girls (ages 9 and 11). The house couldn't have been better suited for us and surpassed descriptions. With separate bedroom suites everyone had plenty of room at night and the common areas were open and comfortable. Outside the grounds are beautifully maintained by Ulisses and Maria and really expand the living space. Tankah Bay provided hours of snorkling and kayaking fun. (we saw lobsters, octopi, rays and tons of fish) The casa served as an excellent base for our many day adventures including trips to akumal, Tulum, Sian Kaan and el Pariso beach. For day excursions we used Ulisses' friend Rueben for taxi service. Rueben was a real hit and never let us down, always offering great suggestions and taking us to fantastic local restaurants and food stands. Within walking distance were a couple of nice casual restaurants including Blue Sky. Also within walking distance is Manatee Cenote, which is a great and very affordable adventure. The water in the cenote is clear and fresh. Not to be forgotten was the kind service provided by Ulisses and Maria. They were very responsive and always helped us out with any questions or needs we had. We had Maria cook for us one night and it was great. Grilled fresh fish and her famous flan...We also enjoyed their dogs which were always well behaved and very sweet. The dogs really got a lot of attention from our daughters and always accompained us on our walks either on the road or on the beach. Our week at the Casa went by too fast and we were sad to say adios. We are ready to go back already and would certainly recommend the Casa to anyone including those with kids. On a closing note I would also like to say that the owners, Ann and Chuck, were superb and very helpful. Ann was very prompt with answering questions and made us very comfortable with the whole process.

“Still a great villa and location, but villa needs attention.” We had again a great vacation with 10 people in the villa, but comapred to 5 years ago the villa and management needs attention and maintenance otherwise it will slip down to an unacceptable level relative to the rent paid, facing problems with some airco's and humidity, bath tubs, warm water, fountain, etc.
