“Family break” We stayed 2 nights at this 6 bedroom house the discription of it was spot on had everything thing it said. Great outdoor space for grandkids to play will hope to be back again in the near future. Many thanks to the owner Paul mc evoy.

“10/10” Took a group of 10 people up to this place for a weekend & had the best time, area is in a handy location, 15/20 minute drive away from Portsalon where we spent a day at the beach. The lake at the house is amazing, we took an inflatable boat out where another day was spent. The house had everything we needed, stocked up with the basics, toilet roll, etc, and the bedrooms were all so comfy and clean. The fire place was stocked (and then replaced) with logs and firewood and recommend having it on, made the living room even cozier. Plenty of space for all of us to do whatever we wanted without being on top of eachother, and a big garden was great when the weather was good! Host was lovely and informative also, highly recommend this place Thanks Damien

“Fantastic - amazing beautiful - a dream” Ard Na Mara delivers exactly what it says on the tin. Pure relaxation in a unbelievable beautiful location; with amazing views.A total chill out zone. The amenities in the house are ten out of ten - you only have to bring your tooth brush. A car is a must as it is about 2 miles outside the town, but if you are looking peace & quiet plus privacy. This is simply a dream property. Hope upon hope we can return again.

“Lovely roomy cottage but beware of spiders!” We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Ann was a lovely host and the welcome basket was very appreciated. The cottage is bigger than you would expect! Only 5 minutes to Killashandra town and 20 to Cavan by car. There are lots of leaflets in the sitting room so you are well informed on what to do throughout your stay. The only reason I marked it down a star was because we encountered quite a few big spiders. There was one as big as an egg and it was quite scary for us! If you're used to living in the country it probably won't bother you but it gave us a bit of a shock. If you don't like spiders this probably isn't the best place for you. Otherwise, our stay was very pleasant and cheap as all your heat, fuel and water is included in the price. I was expecting some sort of compromise for being that cheap but I really can't fault it. Lovely views of the country too. Thank you Ann and John for a wonderful stay.

“Cosy Cottage” We had a lovely break at Tailor's Cottage in Fanad - the perfect base for exploring the peninsula and taking in the scenery and sights. The cottage was warm, like the hospitality. We hope to be back.
