“Beautiful and relaxing” Casa Gavilan is a beautiful home with an over the top comfort rating. It was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We loved watching the birds enjoy the fruit we put in the front yard. The hosts were very friendly and great about answering questions we had. The neighbors were freindly and willing to share their knowledge of the area as well. We felt safe and well cared for. The only down side is that it is over 45 minutes away from LaFortuna were a lot of the tours took place. You would need a rental car to stay here. In all we were very satisfied.

“Amazing Vacation” We have stayed in a number of vacation homes, but never anything as nice as this. The grounds were gorgeous and there was more to do here than in many resorts. We took full advantage of the hiking trails, pool, water slide, kayaks, horse shoes etc. One of the kids' favorite part was the bench under the waterfall on the River Walk Trail. Glenn was very helpful in getting us booked for zip lines and rafting. He also suggested some great places to eat, local activities and day trips. This a perfect vacation spot!
