“Beach Getaway” This place is perfect! Updated and right on the ocean with an amazing view. However, there is not much beach to put chairs down and sit. You can sit for only 2-3 hours in the mid-morning. This did not bother us though as we enjoyed the view all week and drove to a public beach access with parking 2 mins down the road, packed our lunch and stayed there the entire day. The condo is only a 5 minute walk to the sound which we did almost every night to see a beautiful sunset.

“awesome week with the family” This was our 3rd year at Sunnybank, and it was perfect again. Karen has thought of everything you could possibly need. We have 9 grandchildren ranging in age from 12 months to 15 years old, and there is something for everyone! The home is lovely, and we all enjoyed the pool,hot tubs, and large,screened-in game room. The sand dune behind the home was a favorite of ours in the evenings for watching the sunset! Nearly everyday the wild ponies would come around too. Thanks Karen for providing this memorable vacation spot!

“Convienient, beautiful and well appointed vacation home in the heart of Duck.” I stayed at Saltaire with several friends for a relaxing though brief getaway in Duck, NC. the house is very spacious and beautifully furnished with everything you could possibly need right there. It was an easy walk to the beach as well as into town but we were just as happy to stay by the private pool. It is a wonderful place to gather with friends and family. We enjoyed our stay at Saltaire very much.

“A bit of paradise” We just got back from our vacation in the OBX and stayed at the Dolphin Inn. The owners were fabulous from booking through our vacation. They promptly answered every question we had and even called when we arrived to let us know if there was anything we needed they were just a phone call away. My family, parents, sister and brother's family stayed (14 in all) and we had plenty of room. Never felt crowded and were fortunate to all be able to eat together in the 3rd floor space. Playing volleyball was a blast and the kids enjoyed searching for pirate treasures were hid on the pirate ship in the backyard. We used the pool daily and were pleasantly surprised by the amount of beach items that were available for our use. The only downside was that getting across NC12 to walk to the beach was sometimes trying as people didn't always stop. Eventually (within a very short period) a kind person would stop and let us cross. Was an extremely easy walk to the beach and never once did the two 8-year olds, the 5-year old or 3-year old complain about the walk - that is how close the house is to the beach. To top it all off the weather was perfect! Definitely a vacation for the memory book! Special thanks to the Herrada's for sharing their home with us.

“Relaxing with the family” Carolina Breeze is a great family environment. The beach is 100 yards away and the bay is a block away. We went to the amusement area which is within walking distance. We spent more time at the pool and in the hot tub which is delightful. The house is really in a great area.

“Wow this was fantastic” The condo was a dream. It had everything we needed. The area was perfect for us. No big crowds anywhere. The pool has no deep water, which is great with small kids. We will stay here again and again. Richard was very helpful and always had a smile on his face. 5 star for sure.

“My haven from stress and a place to reconnect with family.” This condo has become my second home. It is so inviting, quiet and comfortable. The owner has given special attention to detail to make this unit a place that will provide a haven for anyone looking for a place to unplug rest and enjoy family time together. The condo is spotless and has comfortable furnishings. The dining area is very welcoming. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a sumptuous breakfast, a pleasant lunch or a hearty dinner to fill everyone up after a day on the beach. My favorite spot is the private deck overlooking the dunes with a wonderful view of the sunrise. Parking is great and secure with very good night time lighting. You can walk to family restaurants and the Tiki Bar which has live music and good food right on the beach but this condo complex is not a party hang out spot - if that's what you want please look at other locations! I will be back next year for another 4 week stay.
