“Entire family enjoyed everything about our stay” The place where we stayed was spacious with a beautiful view of the ocean. The private walkway was a plus. We liked the overhang on our porch where we could escape the sun and rain but still enjoy the terrific view. Went to see the aquarium and spent an entire day at Beaufort. Fort Macon was very educational and enjoyable.

“elegance and peacefulness at the beach” Angelfish Cottage was everything we hoped it would be. You are always skeptical when renting a house you have never seen but this house exceeded our expectations. It was comfortable, beautifully decorated and I could tell the owners put a lot of thought into the details. My son especially enjoyed the Playstation and the games (which hadn't been advertised). There were movies available as well as some boardgames. Each room had a flatscreen t.v. two of which were huge. The upperdeck had comfortable lounge chairs so you didnt have to carry anything up there. They have top of the line appliances which were wonderful. There were plenty of extra pillows and blankets which we didn't need but appreciated having them if we had. My only disappointment was that the Wifi did not work. I had to access another line that was not secure. Staying at the angelfish Cottage would assure you of an enjoyable vacation at Emerald Isle. :)

“Relaxing Private Family Vacation” We found this cottage to be extremely clean and just a perfect beach cottage for a family vacation. We absolutely loved the section of the beach and the private beach access. Every night, we enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the sunset over the ocean and listening to waves. The huge front porch and rocking chairs were perfect for relaxing and watching the dolphins in the early morning. This was our first visit to Emerald Isle, which we now plan to make a yearly tradition, and perhaps to this very cottage. We have already booked this cottage for next year!

“We felt like we were at a resort” We thoroughly enjoyed the convenient location of Pebble Beach and the amenities included at the condo community. Our teenage children had the freedom to explore the multiple pools, tennis courts, and the beach in a safe and family oriented environment. They were also able to ride their bikes to stores, restaurants, mini-golf and go-carts. Our oceanfront view was breathtaking and we enjoyed our time out on the deck. The condo itself was a little dated, such as bathrooms and appliances, but we felt the oceanfront view was a fair trade off.

“Isle Stay Vacation” Isle Stay is a lovely beach home, we have stayed here several years now. We noticed a few more problems this year than in the past, however. The pool table was not usuable, the top rack of the dishwasher kept falling, the dryer needed several cycles to get most loads dry. I did not feel the bathrooms were as clean as I would have liked upon arrival. There was a towel rack pulled out of the wall in one of the upstairs bathrooms (which did get repaired) and the deck had blue paint writing on it.

“"Edgewater" at Emerald Isle is a wonderful Autumn experience” We enjoyed our stay very much. "Five Stars" to the personnel at Shorewood Real Estate. They were very professional and courteous and provided excelent service. The house was neat and of course the location was "top-notch". We enjoyed the spaciousness of the upstairs area. “Great Spring Break” The house was adorable, clean and bright. We loved being able to see the ocean everyday. We came down to see my son who is stationed at Camp Lejeune and it was very relaxing for him as he got to spend a couple of days with us. We plan on renting Fins to the Right again!

“great location and great views” Conviently located for a family: directly on a quiet part of the beach and near a grocery store. Enough room for an extended family of ten people. Views are great. Check-in is done easily. Not as clean as it should have been. There were cigarette ashes on the master bedroom floor (this is a non-smoking property...). Gas grill was dirty, full of greasy residue.

“Loved it!” We've rented many different houses at Emerald Isle, and Crystal Charm East is our favorite. The location is great - you are close to everything without feeling the bustle of the main drag. The house is very comfortable and nicely furnished. Because we have teenagers we really appreciated the wireless internet access. I did feel some anxiety about the ceramic stovetop and the need to clean it after each use. And we had an ant problem at the beginning of the week that was quickly solved by a can of Raid - we didn't call the rental office about it since they disappeared in a day. The only suggestion I would make would be to add some beach items - sand chairs, boogie boards and an umbrella. We'll definitely rent this house again!
