“A delightful and revitalizing time for our family of 5, perfect” We were so pleased to have chosen this delightful property on our travels to Niagra Falls. Our family of 5 which includes 2 grown children had stayed at a variety of places prior to finding this gem. " By the Vines" is located in a picturesque area and we felt instantly refreshed to discover a clean, spacious, well appointed home where we could spread out and relax. Our highlight was building a snowman in the backyard, a real treat for aussies who live in Tropical Queensland! We loved the little packs of natural soaps and shampoos, so beautifully packaged in the spotless bathrooms. The kitchen and dining area was fully and tastefully equipped with everything a family required to enjoy meal time, and the well equipped laundry , complete with detergent was much appreciated! The beds and pillows were very comfortable, our best sleep on our holiday. Very convenient location with groceries and fresh produce straight across the road and a winery right next door!

“Great place, great breakfast!” This lovely cottage is well-kept, and anca served a fantastic breakfast each morning. She even picked up my wine tour passes for me while I was travelling to NOL. Highly recommended!

“Comfortable house, great location for Niagara activities” We spent a fabulous week at the avalon with our adult children and several of their friends, seeing plays, touring wineries, taking bike trips, exploring Niagara-on-the-Lake and the Falls - couldn't imagine a better place to stay! The house is lovely throughout, even better that it appears in the photos, with comfortable, quiet, bedrooms and generous large communal areas for all kinds of activities, from swimming and dining on the patio, to preparing meals, doing puzzles, watching movies, and catching up on emails indoors. It is equipped with everything you would have in your own home, including a full laundry, excellent internet service, and plenty of kitchen gear - lucky for us since our kids love to cook! The air conditioning was a great bonus, since it was in the 90'sF (35-40C) the whole week. The house is on a charming residential street within an easy walk of everything in Notl - grocery store, post office, Shaw Festival theatres, Fort George, shopping, and of course many great restaurants, and you can bike to wineries, picnic areas, and the Falls along the gorgeous Niagara Parkway bike path. Best of all is the terrific owner and his staff, who provided excellent directions and intructions in advance, and responded with breath-taking speed to take care of any questions or problems that arose. This truly was one of the greatest vacations we have ever had - highest marks for the avalon!

“Location, location, location” Want a getaway in a charming, cozy, clean, comfortable, colorful cottage where only a 2 minute walk provides access to great restaurants, theaters, unique shops? Well, you can't go wrong with Casablanca Cottage. My husband and I just completed a snowy, beautiful month's stay that included the Christmas holidays. We couldn't have been more content. Fully stocked with any and all amenities, owner Don George is a hands on guy. Problem, question, his response is immediate and unobtrusive. He truly cares. He even decorated the cottage for the holidays, an added bonus. There is an ample supply of videos, books, and a charming fireplace that adds to the character and charm. The warm colors and attention to details reveal owners who take pride in their accommodation. The furnishings are perfectly appropriate and plentiful. We immediately felt at home. Our only regret was that the winter weather did not allow us to take advantage of the porches, deck, and delightful garden. I can't imagine anyone who would be unhappy with this delightful home.

“So relaxing” This cottage was so peaceful and relaxing, an oasis within the already tranquil small town of Notl. It made so much difference to have this place at the heart of our family vacation, we highly recommend it for families of (as the cottage is ideally laid out for) up to five people.

“Great Home away from Home!” In the heart of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Marrakech Mansion is a great vacation home! It is extremely comfortable, clean, beautifully decorated and full of amenities. We spent a long weekend there with two other couples and had a fantastic time taking advantage of the BBQ, full kitchen and the abundance of outdoor furniture and space. We would recommend Marrakech Mansion to anyone!

“The perfect 'home away from home'” My husband, toddler, and I rented this cottage while we were participating in an 1812 re-enactment at Fort George (little guy is not ready for a tent)and we are thrilled that we did. The location was perfect- you could walk to all of Niagara-on-the-Lake's many attractions with ease. The cottage itself was adorable and comfortable-the little touches like coffee/tea, a complimentary bottle of local wine, and tourist brochures really made our stay that much better. The yard is huge and the patio is charming. The kitchen is set up nicely with all the tools needed to create meals at home. Our hostess saw to our every need, including providing a highchair and playpen for my little one, and she was not only professional but personable and friendly as well. The neighbors are wonderful and made us feel very welcome. We had an excellent time staying at this lovely little cottage and were sad to leave. We hope to come back soon and recommend this location wholeheartedly to families and couples alike.

“Wonderful apartment” This is a beautiful modern apartment perfect for two couples on vacation. The decor is contemporary and comfortable, the space is large. We try to stay there every September when we attend the Shaw Festival. We like being able to make our own breakfast and having cocktails before dinner

“"Very homely and relaxing".” We stayed at Simcoe Pines for two weeks over christmas and New Year. Arriving in Canada four days before christmas with four young children could have been a nightmare, but thanks to the owners of Simcoe Pines (who were a pleasure to deal with, very understanding and obliging)things couldn't have been easier. From the moment we walked through the door, we felt we were "home". Simcoe Pines is a fabulous vacation home...it is spacious, relaxing and has everything you could need or want in a home...it is very homely and exceptionally clean. The location to the town is superb...a five minute walk to all the shops, restaurants, theatres etc. It is very accessible to all the roads in and out of the town. There is nothing more we could have asked for and we will definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Casablanca Cottage
Charming Cottage

We have been staying at the Casablanca Cottage for 8 years every summer, and it is a lovely, well appointed 3 bedroom gem that is situated within walking distance of NOTL's main street. A gorgeous porch for sitting and having a glass of wine, a private, landscaped back yard where you can enjoy a dinner under the stars and a comfortable den for those times when staying in is your preference. Owner Don George is conscientious and works hard to ensure your stay is enjoyable.see more
