“Very relaxing” Stayed here for two nights with my sister, nephew and his wife. Very comfortable furniture and beds. The porch was our favorite spot to sit looking over the mountains. Enjoyed our morning coffee out there. Nanci was very kind and available if we needed anything, which we did not. The place is very well stocked. I could easily stay a week here, cooking meals, hiking, watching the sun set, relaxing, and of course shopping. Love the fact that it was a stable/barn. Love the uniqueness of it. Thanks Nanci!

“Great time” The size of the beach house is small but its perfect for a family vacation. The beach is so close a two minute walk with no major roads to cross. The house was clean and the Hampton strip is a nice 5 minute walk away. We had a great time and I would rent this place again.

“Vacation Home” The condo was immaculate and well stocked with all essentials. The layout was great with a living room between the two bedrooms. Everything was comfortable and immediately felt like home. There were plenty of seats for dining between the large table and breakfast bar. 8 people could comfortably sleep between the 3 beds and pull out couch. We ate out frequently at nearby restaurants and were also able to make anything in the well equipped kitchen. The two pools and jacuzzi were clean and refreshing and the option of a full gym and racquet ball court were nice to have. It was never crowded either. In fact, we were the only ones swimming on a few occasions. John has an extensive movie collection, including movies from all genres. The condo itself was large enough that we didn't feel cramped in, even after 5 nights. The balcony was a nice spot to sit with a book. Traveling with babies or young children can be a challenge, and a high chair and pack 'n play are provided. The outlets were plugged for safety and aside from moving the cleaning supplies out of reach, there wasn't anything we had to rearrange for our daughter's safety. We toured around Lincoln and visited Clark's Trading Post, within walking distance. The Basin is beautiful and only a 3 minute drive as well. There are some cute shops around the corner as well as great restaurants. We visited the Flume Gorge and made our way to Glen for Story Land too. The condo's office had information regarding activities and maps, if needed. While we had fun busy days filled with activity, we looked forward to coming "home" to the condo to relax and swim. The gas fireplace would be nice in the cooler months, and the aC was great during the hot days. The condo and building are easily accessible with strollers as well as wheel chairs. We look forward to visiting again and would recommend this condo to anyone looking for a quiet, clean, spacious, convenient, and comfortable place to stay. It was perfect!

“Excellent!” Wonderful place to stay! We love 'our' suite. It is clean and inviting. There is always something to do in the area (go for a ride around the lake, play on the beach, go to the drive-in!) and some great restaurants that are very close. Dyan is great, always available if needed but not hovering. I will definitely stay again!

“Perfect getaway” This was a perfect little cottage for our "mini-honeymoon". We were looking for a quiet place that was close to the beach and boardwalk and this was it! Clean, bright and conveniently located to everything. We were able to bring our well-behaved yellow lab as well. The walk to the beach was on the street over the dunes and not right next to the state beach which was perfect and less crowded. Lynn was very nice and accommodating as her place is next door. The property manager is in the unit below so if you need anything they are there for you. We are very happy with our decision to rent this location!

New Hampshire holidays

New Hampshire is a quaint and demure yet dazzling state with an abundance of natural beauty. Its residents pride themselves on their love of the outdoors. With glistening lakes and towering mountains dotting the landscape and the wild Atlantic bordering it to the south, New Hampshire offers a wide spectrum of activities and striking geographic features to enjoy.

Be sure to make time for these must see attractions and destinations:

  • The coast: Major cities like Rochester, Portsmouth, Dover and Salem as well as sleepy hamlets that come alive in summer dot the scenic Atlantic coast of New Hampshire. Go whale watching, take a lighthouse tour, enjoy deep-sea fishing, boating, swimming or just strolling the busy boardwalks on the New Hampshire coast. High season runs from June through August, and the coastal setting is perfect for New Hampshire romantic getaways.
  • Lake Winnipesaukee: Measuring a massive 21 miles in length, this famed lake rests in central New Hampshire. Its endless fishing, hiking and swimming spots surround some of the best campsites in New Hampshire.
  • Lincoln: Nestled in the sleepy slopes of the White Mountains, Lincoln is the best place for a taste of a New England autumn. The Hobo Railroad winds through the mountains, giving travellers breathtaking views of the leaves as they put on their annual brilliant spectacle.
  • White Mountain National Forest: One of the most popular New Hampshire parks, White Mountain National Forest can be enjoyed equally in the summer and the winter. During the warm weather months, the area hosts hiking and fishing at their finest, and some of the most scenic ski areas in New Hampshire open when the calendar rolls around to winter.
  • Appalachian Trail: New Hampshire is one of the 14 states that this famous and beloved nature preserve runs through. Its hiking is highly recommended by nature lovers.

In the summertime, the coast is brimming with hidden bays, fresh lobster and hiking trails that swell with life and vigour. Regardless of when you decide to take your New Hampshire holiday, every season offers plenty of unique activities; the skiing is fantastic in the winter, the foliage is spectacular in autumn, and the fresh blossom of spring puts a bounce in everyone's step.

If you want to commune with the great outdoors without sacrificing comfort, cabin rentals are available throughout New Hampshire. For those visiting the cities or staying along the coast, holiday rentals like condos and summer rentals are ideal for both short and extended stays in the state.

New Hampshire is a gateway not only to the rest of New England, but also to Canada. The province of Quebec borders New Hampshire to the north, and you can make a trip across the border to experience the unique culture of French Canada.

The Artist's House, an antique New England home
Great country getaway

The "Artist House" was a perfect country getaway for me and my friends from NYC; a place to recoup and de-stress with nature and fresh air, away from all media (no TV, radio, etc.) Near lots of little swimming holes and great skiing, where we felt like we had the whole town to ourselves. The old house was rustic and comfortable with alot of original fixtures and decor, but equipped with all the conveniences of a modern home. The owners were friendly and warm, and was extremely helpful and hospitable and made sure that the kitchen was well stocked with all the working amenities you can think of: coffee maker, pots/pans, toaster, kettle, etc. The house was well stocked with clean linens, towels, and extra blankets for those chilly winter nights. And given that the owners (Susan and Andy) live just down the road, made it easy if we had any questions or needed anything else which they were all so willing to provide. We even made friends with their dogs who happily endured our long walks in the snow :). We had a fantastic time there, and would love the chance to stay there again...maybe in the warmer months of the year so we can take full advantage of the outdoors will all the little lakes and hikes that are at your disposal.see more

White Mountains New Hampshire Lakefront Cabin,
Absolutely fabulous

This was the best vacation I've ever taken, hands down. Not only did we swim in the beautiful lake every day, we even went over and climbed Mt Piermont. We had fresh food from local farms, and kept toasty at night by the fire pit at night listening to the loons calling before moving inside and relaxing in front of the fire. The dogs had a blast swimming and hiking and my boyfriend proposed to me by the water! I couldn't be happier with our decision. We hope to return next year. Totally worth it, thank you so much!!!see more
