“Great little cottage” The cottage is located near the beach. It is well equipped and was very clean. Access to a BBQ was a plus along with the picnic table. The second bedroom does not have 2 single beds as advertized but a trundle bed, which was a bit of a problem. Do note that the beach is a mix of sand and pebbles

“relaxing, quaint, enjoyable” We enjoyed our stay in your cottage and had a wonderful time. We walked on the beach every day but only swam a few times as the ocean was quite cool. The weather was sunny, hot and humid, just what you want for an oceanside vacation. Thanks again.

“Summer memories made here !!” We have been going to this " home away from home" cottage for the last 4 years and prebook it every summer for the same week !! Each morning starts with an ocean breeze coming through your window, followed by a walk on the beach , breakfast on the porch overlooking the dunes, every afternoon on the beach, ice cream truck comes every afternoon for the kids ( and adults ) , then more beach time and campfires with s'mores .. What more could you ask for !! Great memories in an immaculate , affordable and adorable cottage !!

“Great, relaxing vacation.” As first time renters we really did not know what to expect. We found a great house for relaxing and enjoying the best the Cape has to offer. From coffee on the deck in the morning to fire pits on the beach in the evening -- we enjoyed every minute. The kids braved the cold waters and we collected a bucketfull of beautiful rocks. “The view from the living room priceless!!!” The cottage was perfect for what we were looking for. The bathroom was just updated and very clean. Bedrooms were small, but who cares, we only slept there.Furniture in living room was not the most comfortable but I guess it served the purpose. Kitchen was small but doable. I think it might be a bit crowded with three or more people but it is cape cod.

“Gorgeous in every way” The cottage is tasteful, beautiful, comfortable and convenient. The views of the wonderful working harbor are breathtaking. The sunsets, seen from the deck while relaxing, dining, drinking coffee or something else are singularly spectacular. The color scheme in the cottage, the attention to detail, the artwork - all conspire to make the entire experience of being there as relaxing and enjoyable as it could possibly be. I would recommend Summerwind Cottage to anyone. I hope to return regularly. On top of all its other charms, the owners-Hank and Linda-are delightful people that I would love to see again under any circumstances.

“The vacation cottage you need!!” Since I’m 9 years old my family has traveled to the cape. As we have grown with our own families we all spread out and find our own sleeping quarters. This year my family wound up in Eastham and we couldn’t have been happier. The cottage had ample space for us as well as yard space that we were able to have drinks and appetizers outside with some family after the beach. It was great!!!! The dirt road and seclusion from all the busyness gave us the quiet and calm we like. A short walk to the private bay was unreal. We can not thank Cindy and Fred enough for sharing their home with us. If you are looking for the ritz this isn’t it but if simple works for you, this home was a great rental. Thank you for the memories.

“Peaceful, relaxing and comfortable stay” We stayed at the cottage in Manomet for one week and it was wonderful! We loved the home...quaint New England at it's best. Everything you need (except towels, sheets) for a fabulous week at the beach. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because you had to bring your own linens. Will book again. “Best family vacation spot!!!!” Our stay overall was excellent! Our kids played on the beach for hours catching crabs/ minnows and swimming. We enjoyed exploring the bay by paddle board and kayak. By boat, we went on exciting adventures. We anchored at Washburn island where we relaxed and walked on the sandbar. The vacation rental is about 7 miles away from Marthas Vineyard by boat. We had a wonderful day trip on the Vineyard. We thoroughly recommend this vacation spot.

“Perfect Vacation Spot” My boyfriend and I were looking for a get away during the holiday we found the house and absolutely fell in love with it. This hidden gem of a spot is fabulous! The deck that wraps around the house and facing the water is a wonderful place to sit out for the day or have dinner on the deck as the sun goes down. The house on the water allows you to feel like your at the beach without even leaving the house. Once the tide goes out there is such great walking beach and so many shells and sea creatures. Drew was great helping us find the house and all that was available once we got settled. My boyfriends favorite part was watching the fireworks from all the surrounding towns while sitting on the deck. And he loved the outdoor shower! The town of Wellfleet is a great destination for anybody! And this little house is the best place in town!

“A cozy 'home from home'.” We were delighted with our stay in this relaxing, well decorated and very comfortable Cape Cod cottage. It is perfectly located being close to the beach, shops and restaurants and ideal for exploring the beautiful Cape. Clearly a lot of thought has gone into making sure that everything one could possibly wish for is provided. Arriving after our long journey we at once settled in and felt at home. The warm house, welcoming chocolates and bottle of wine were much appreciated as well as the paper and pen waiting for us in the kitchen drawer the following morning just as our thoughts had turned to shopping. The sun shone and the glorious cherry tree in the garden put on a wonderful flowering display during our visit. From the peaceful deck we were able to watch the squirrels in the trees whilst having lunch. So much praise should go to Mark and Lynn for creating this 'home from home' to which we very much hope to return before too long.

“Wonderful Cottage for Nantucket Getaway!!” My boyfriend and I (and our dog, Tyson) needed to getaway from the hustle and bustle of home and we could not have picked a better place to stay! I have absolutely no complaints about this listing. It was clean and stocked with everything you would need. We got groceries the first night and spent most of our time relaxing and grilling on the deck. The location is great because it is just a short drive into town but also just far enough away to get some private time in the Tom Nevers area. We took Tyson to the beach nearby which he LOVED and we enjoyed exploring the island. Lauren and Ron were amazing in all aspects of the rental process. They were easy to reach for any questions or concerns and Lauren provided me with a ton of helpful information about the island and our stay at the cottage. I HIGHLY recommend this listing to any couple looking for some R & R. Would definitely stay here again!!

“Felt like home- clean, comfortable and full amenities!” Beautiful property - immaculate in and out. Yard is quiet and very pretty, which lends itself to wonderful outdoor relaxation. Home is full of amenities including washer and dryer, outside shower, TV, stereo, fireplace, full eat-in kitchen, outdoor grill etc.. Close to major roads for easy travel to all major tourist sites - Chatham, Hyannis, Provincetown and more. Home owners live next door and are just delightful! Rental business seems to be a passion and they clearly want you to have a great experience! We have stayed there numerous times over many years and keep coming back!.
