“Peace, tranquility and relaxation” My husband, mother and I spent a very relaxing few days at Chalet on Percheron last month. We loved the tranquillity and peace that we experienced. The property is situated just out of town in a rural setting, close to walking trials and paddocks where lots of kangaroos rest. The kangaroos came down to the lawn in front of the deck of the chalet around dusk. Little blue wren fly around the bushes and ducks sometimes come up from the Margaret River which is not very far from the property. Being June it was quite chilly in Margaret River, but it was cosy and warm with the wood fire in the Chalet. All wood supplied. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and well equipped. The town site is a five minute drive away. All in all we loved out stay and look forward to further breaks at Chalet on Percheron.
“the beauty of spring in margaret river” Hi Karen
I guess you must hear this alot but about your property but we absolutly loved staying there .I always have a had time trying to get my husband to relax. As he works so hard all year and it was almost instantanious as soon as he walked through the door the stresses were left at home. The view well photo's are one thing but to see it with your own eyes is nothing short off amazing .I can only imagine what it would be like in summer we were there the first weekend of spring and if you ask me i would not change a thing from the beautiful lillys ,vibrant flowers down the driveway and the way you can see the rain coming in from the ocean slowly making its way to land it's not something i haven't seen before. Instead of watching t.v we would spend spend time together watching the waves through the telescope .I must add stepping onto a heated floor first thing in the morning was somewhat strange but deeply pleasurable and i have insinsted the next house we build has to have it too! (without compromise) as my husband is a builder and i am doing interior design this house was ideal and we took the time to read the articals and understand all aspect . To add to our relaxation we chose to have a massages with body bliss and it really lives up to its name nothing to fault just pure relaxation .So sorry there may be a few fingerprints on the windows and doors as we have very active 4 year old. Thanks So Much we hope to come stay again Helen D
“Serene” Our family of six (4xboys) had a truely wonderful experience staying at Bella. All of my boys, aged between 10 & 13, were so enthralled with the bush land the kangaroos, playground and the fantastic fire pit that not once did they even pick up their electronic games. Each boy slept soundly in the comfy beds after spending the day running around and exploring. My husband and I spent our time walking through the beautiful gardens and just having quite time to chat and enjoy a glass of wine in the peacefull surounds while the boys played endlessley. We had made plans to go to the caves and see some wineries but the boys insisted on just staying at the house and cooking sausages over the fire at night time for their tea. I can honestly say that there is nothing I would change about my stay at Bella except that I wish them more rain to fill their tanks. We are planning on comming back as soon as possible, it feels like our home too now.
