“I just didn't want to leave!” Staying at Casa Francisco was a delightful experience. My husband and I, both retired, were visiting SMa for the first time and found the casa's location to be most convenient. Easy walk to all parts of town and never a problem finding a taxi for longer trips or for grocery shopping. Some great restaurants nearby. Inside, the ambience is lovely. It's much prettier than the pictures suggest. There's quality furnishings, from a large selection of thick towels and sheets to a newer Cuisinart blender, a large gas stove. and huge refrigerator. Beds felt new, with puffy down covers and down pillows. Everything worked properly, cookware was complete, washer and dryer were great and there's a huge selection of attractive dishes, platters, and cutlery. Bathrooms were very clean, spacious, and well lit, and all the hardware and drains worked perfectly. Gorgeous tile! Large closets with built in deep drawers for each bedroom. Great cross breezes from the open French doors in upstairs rooms. Nice office area for computing. We visited in early March and never used the fireplaces. Romantic evening lighting in the courtyard. Views from the rooftop deck were beautiful. Walt was helpful and professional, and he accommodated for our late night arrival. It was a pleasure to work with him. The house keeper worked twice a week and was prompt and thorough. There were absolutely no flaws in our stay at Casa Francisco, except having to pack up and leave!

“Can't say enough good things about Casa Carolina...convenient an” Tucked away in the heart of colonial Mexico, San Miguel de allende is one of the most enchanting and safest towns that you will ever experience. It is a magical town, where you can relax and enjoy the lifestyles and customs of a special people. Casa Carolina will make your stay even more enjoyable. It is full of Mexican charm, with all the conveniences of home. It boasts a lovely courtyard with an adjacent covered dining area, a popular place to gather for breakfast and lunch. The three bedrooms are very comfortable, with adjoining baths for each. There is one bedroom on the main floor for those who prefer not to navigate stairs, but my personal favorite is on the second floor, and opens onto a beautiful terrace. There is also a roof-top patio with a wonderful view of the Parroquia. One of the biggest advantages of staying at Casa Carolina is its close proximity to the center of town. It is just a short walk to the Jardin, the restaurants, and shopping. But my favorite thing about this lovely home is the amazing housekeeper. Berta will take care of your every need, and keep the house in immaculate shape. She is also a fabulous cook, so prepare to be spoiled. There is only one problem with Casa Carolina and San Miguel... you will never want to go home. In fact, it is quite addicting, and if you are like me, you will come back time after time.
