“Amazing Property with Fantastic Views!” Our Favorite San Miguel Rental Yet! Guest: Kay and Charlie (Beaufort, SC) Date of Stay: 10/04/11 Review Submitted: 11/12/11 We recently rented Casa de Mira for the month of October. This was our best San Miguel rental yet! The casa was even better than the pictures, especially the views. The owners have considered everything to make their guests comfortable. Daren and Mira were very helpful in answering any questions and their suggestions for neighborhood restaurants were right on! The beds and linens were luxury hotel quality and the kitchen was fully stocked with all appliances and cookware. We felt perfectly safe in this mixed neighborhood and made several friends who were renting just around the corner on Vergel. Unlike previous rentals, all the furniture was super comfortable. We definitely considered this "home" for our four week stay. I will definitely consider Casa de Mira for a future rental. Recommended for:Girls getaway, romantic getaway,family and friends vacation

“Fabulous house in Guanajuato!” Seven of us stayed very comfortably in this large beautiful old house in the center of Guanajuato. It has a beautiful upstairs courtyard and roof top overlooking the town. The house is well maintained and painted in the bright colors of the region with wonderful Mexican tile work and eclectic artifacts. Very comfortable and highly recommended. “Beautiful, comfortable home in Centro” Of the many rental options in San Miguel de allende, this has to be one of the very best. It is right in Centro, steps from the Jardin and the Parroquia and the best shops and restaurants In fact, many of the postcards, featuring the Parroquia with a a picturesque street view in the foreground, are taken near the front door of this beautiful, colonial home. It is built around a central courtyard garden, with a fountain. The three bedrooms each have their own terrace and private area, so it is easy for three couples to stay and not get in each other's way. My husband and I stayed for three weeks during an unusually cold January and were extremely comfortable the whole time. The bedrooms have fireplaces and electric blankets to take the nip out of the air, should you need to. We only had to turn them on occasionally for an hour in the evening and we were toasty warm. Evenings, when we weren't out enjoying San Miguel's nightlife, we spent in the outdoor living room - open to the courtyard, in front of the wood-burning fireplace, relaxing, reading, listening to music. Maria, the cook, made the most delicious breakfasts and lunches. She could cook anything we wanted, but mostly, we just asked her to make whatever she found fresh at the market and were never disappointed. Theresa, the maid, kept the place spotless and did our laundry. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful and comfortable home.

“Wonderful time in a great location!” The location of Casa de las Divas is perfect. An easy walk anywhere in the Centro and beyond. Very safe. The casita is set back from the street and is very quiet. The decor is lovely and comfortable, with a small and well equipped kitchen. Great access to internet, Vonage and Magic Jack phones, and cable tv. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The owner and her family are warm, welcoming and very helpful with great information about the area. Excellent shopping close by in the artisan and fresh markets; groceries, and other necessities. Many restaurants in easy walking distance. I have been coming to San Miguel for 14 years and would return again to Casa de las Divas. I recommend it highly!

“simply wonderful” the house is just amazing, beautiful decoration, bigger that it acctually looks on photos, the swimming pool is just a few steps from the door but most of all very secure, the house is located on a complex that is gated so nobody can get it unless they live there, the manager did everything you could expect to makes us feel like home, and we did! always in touch, always making sure we we´re having a nice time, supermarket is just around the corner and you are only 5 minutes away from downtown, it was very relaxing to be there, we made the best choice!

“Lovely home in a beutiful city.” This is a spacious three bedroom home in a great quite neighborhood. The location is perfect for walking or hoping on the bus to get to downtown San Miguel de Allende. The house has a beautiful kitchen with everything you could need for preparing meals. We would definitely stay there again.
