“The perfect mini getaway from our family” We decided to take a mini vacation with our two daughters, 10 and 14, along with our family dog who is a Labdoodle. The owners were extremely responsive to our requests and questions while we were booking and provided a lot of helpful information about the area. We really did not know what to expect, but were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the cabin. The cabin is located pretty high up in the mountains and the view is incredible! Very comfortable cabin with all the amenities of home. We love that there is a washer and dryer. There are hiking trails very near the cabin and that was our favorite part. We were also pretty close to the town of Blue Ridge which we have never been before. We spent a day there and absolutely loved how charming the place was and how friendly the people were! We loved the fact that most of the places are pet friendly and we were even able to eat at a really nice restaurant called The Black Sheep, and they welcomed King (who is our very well behaved Labdoodle). We used the fire pit at the cabin which was a lot of fun. We grilled and made s'mores. It really is the perfect cabin for a family of four. We loved our time there and will likely make it a family tradition to come back every summer.
