“Views, views, views!” We are two couples who spent an incredible week at probably the greatest villa we have ever stayed at! The unit is exactly as advertised – amazing views of the lagoon, beautifully maintained and clean, and the perfect size for 2 couples to enjoy for a week in paradise! The beds are very comfortable and A/C is available in the 2 bedrooms. The kitchen has everything you need e.g. refrigerator, microwave, toaster, tea kettle, coffee maker, etc. We made extensive use of the kitchen, having bought groceries to prepare most of our own meals (go to Super U, this grocery store has everything from a great wine selection to fresh fruits, meats, cheeses, etc.). The outdoor patio with table and chairs is accessible through a large double sliding glass door (open this and the front door and you get the most wonderful cross-breeze through the unit to keep you cool). We enjoyed breakfasts on the patio with beautiful lagoon/ocean views. We planned out our days activities there over a good cup of coffee ! It was always lovely coming back after a long day of swimming, snorkeling, relaxing on the beach and coming to a nice, beautiful home. Pierre, the owner of the villa, is absolutely wonderful to work with. He is incredibly quick to respond to questions/concerns as you plan your trip, and provides clear and concise replies that go the extra step of suggesting even more information than you may have asked for - information that was mostly incredibly helpful. If you want a quiet piece of heaven on earth that is directly adjacent to the most beautiful turquoise blue water with a delicate ocean breeze that keeps you and this beautiful home at just the right temperature, then think seriously about getting on the schedule and prepare to unwind. We would definitely recommend this villa and would love to stay here again!

“Beautiful home in Paradise!” Our stay at Villa Vahimanui was simply outstanding! Before we arrived, we received excellent instructions from Pierre -the owner- who was a pleasure to work with. He was more than helpful and wanted to make sure everything would be perfect for our stay. Everything we needed and more was at our disposal in the villa: comfortable furniture, Wifi & Hdtv, air condition in the master bedroom and a fully stocked kitchen.This home was just as beautiful as the pictures of Flipkey web-site depicted. Since we were there for a rest and relaxation trip, we spent a lot of time on the large balcony and experienced amazing sunsets! The views are priceless and the location is ideal! My husband said:" it's champagne and caviar view!" Getting around Bora Bora was very easy. We rented Pierre's car and saved a lot of money.We were able to explore all of the areas of the island and loved having the tourist information sent by Pierre.Thank you so much for making our stay most memorable! We can't wait to return... a true gem!

“Slice of Paradise” You may pay more than twice at one of Bora Bora's famous five-star over water bungalow resorts without even getting near the exclusiveness or the sense of comfort and tranquillity you will experience at the "Marlon Brando”. With all the money saved on accommodation I can afford to stay a week longer next time.

“I truly wish everyone going to Bora Bora will get to expereince” I have to admit I was apprehensive renting from someone I had never met. Thanks to those who wrote reviews and gave me the assurance to jump on the opportunity. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Tiare (Nir was out of town) who gave us the key and a cell phone so we could call whenever we had a problem. We did call a few times. Tiare was quick to respond and solved all our problems. The bungalow is exactly as depicted in the photos - spacious, clean, nicely furnished, well equipped, in the lagoon. The best snorkeling spot is in front of the bungalow. There's more to see here than in front of the other bungalows in the complex. We saw an octopus, shy moray eels, parrot fish, spotted eagle rays (if you stay quiet, they'll let you swim along with them), and many more... We came across a school of travelly that patrolled the water. We went on a snorkel excursion and a fishing trip and got picked up/dropped off at our own dock. We rented a car from Tiare. Without it, we would miss out on getting fresh baguettes in the morning, cruising to the many postcard perfect picturistic spots, and greeting the fishermen when they came in with their catch of the day. Bora Bora is paradise and you'd feel it the moment you step off the plane. I am sure we would have had a great time if we were to stay in the over water bungalows in one of the resorts. But I would not trade it for what we had. Apart from the money we save, what makes Marlon's and Brando's so unique - especially after seeing where the luxury resorts are situated - is how it made us feel. There are only five over water bungalows in the complex so we had total privacy. It's located on the main island, so we're connected to what makes the island so special apart from its natural beauty- its people, their culture and way of life. I feel so blessed to have experienced it not as an outsider coming to a dream location but as someone who lives in paradise. Truly wish everyone going to Bora Bora will get to expereince this.

“Heaven” Michelle and I spent two amazing weeks at the Black Pearl. The home is beautiful, clean and most relaxing. Of all the beach destination we have been to, this is by far the best. We enjoyed how quiet the home and the area is. Every day, we would snorkel right off the dock. We easily drove to restaurants and shopping (rented car).
