The cottage is well appointed and has a cooks kitchen with all the necessities. The cottage has a view of the magnificent nature that is Fiji's calling card. Sitting out on the deck looking down at the ocean below was our favorite past time. The grounds and Cottage are clean as a ribbon inside and out. Can't wait to go back.

“Amazing break” We stayed a week in the house and then had a week in an Island resort and had the perfect break. The house has amazing views and the snorkelling out the front is special. Make sure you enjoy a curry from Ramesh and a Lovo. Also enjoyed going to the markets at Sigatoka and buying fresh produce to cook up a few dishes ourselves. We'll be back.

“Awesome place to stay in Vanua Levu” We wanted a grand tour of the Fiji islands and needed a place to stay on Vanua Levu. We found Fiji Beach Shacks online, probably through Tripadvisor. The owners were very easy to deal with, very friendly! The house is way up on a hill overlooking the water. Sunset views are spectacular. Of course, the 100 steps up to it allowed for a built-in workout every day. Cabs in to town were quick and easy to arrange. There is a book in the house with all the to-do phone numbers and recommendations. We snorkeled Split Rock, which is a short walk down the road toward town and a short swim out. Not to be missed! The other direction on the road is up to the Cousteau resort, which we walked to for a very expensive lunch one day. The house looks brand new. It is very 'beachy' feeling in its openness and colors. Comfortable, quiet, great views, nice pool (now even better, I hear.) The deck was great. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, flatware and appliances. Not much on the 1-station TV, though. We arranged for a trip out to the bay to see spinner dolphins, went diving with Collin from Koro Sun (fantastic!), snorkeled every day and enjoyed the great restaurants in town. Looking back on it, we can't believe how nice this place was for what we paid for it. Great experience and we have tons of pictures to remember it all by.

“A Taste of Paradise” This was my 4th visit to Fiji where I have mainly stayed at commercialised resorts, Bularangi Villa was just something else! Amazing does not even begin to describe Bularangi Villa! From booking with Ali through to leaving Fiji our trip was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble and the Villa is definately 5 star. If you are looking at getting away from everything and experiencing the 'real Fiji' (with all the luxury Bularangi Villa offers!) I would highly recommend staying here. It feels like your own private world. After a long year this was the perfect place to unwind and recharge the batteries, I cant wait to go back!

“Perfect Fiji getaway” This was the best Fiji Holiday ever!!! Private and relaxing. The staff are wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. The owner Patrick went out of his way to provide us with a great relaxing holiday experience. The beach is right on the doorstep, the snorkelling was perfect. Great for families with children, or relaxing with friends. We will be back, nothing in Fiji comes close to this paradise.
