“Perfect river view” If your looking for a vacation home with a beautiful view of the Smith River this is it! You can have coffee in the morning looking over the river from your kitchen and enjoy the scenery from every room. The property has a new deck, great fire pit (we used it most nights)and a horsepit that entertains for hours. The home is well decorated and perfectly comfortable. The beach, redwoods and restaurants are within just a few minutes drive. This is going to be a yearly rental for our family and we're already starting to plan for next years' trip.

About Crescent City

Crescent City is named after the same shaped stretch of beach in the area. The growing population is testament to the natural beauty of this area. As home to several fishing vessels, the Crescent City Harbor can be very busy. The Harbor suffered damage in the 2011 tsunamis resulting from an earthquake in Japan. However, this has since been restored.

If you‘re planning on visiting the area, the best time to go is during summer months. Despite Crescent City being considerately cooler than nearby inland locations, the refreshing temperatures make it ideal to spend time outdoors.

Every dish is freshly cooked with fresh ingredients so you expect only the best food in town. Elsewhere, Vita Cucina offers a range of salads, sandwiches and gluten free options which are perfect for a quick snack.
