“Perfect” It is impossible to find fault with Gorse Cottage. The cottage was perfect in every way. It had everything needed for a perfect holiday. In a perfect location with views and sunsets that are unforgetable.

“A fantastic base for an excellent holiday” The house was very clean and each room had ensuite facilities. It was a perfect base, with plenty of room to cater for 14 adults, ranging in age from 19 to 57 with one child aged 2. There were excellent facilities in the kitchen with an American style fridge and a good patio area with barbeque, The house is beside Lahinch Golf Club and is within easy walking distance to the shops, restaurants and bars. I have no hesitation in recommending Klondell House.

“Great Location,Comfortable Apartment” Very homely, there was everything you need (and a lot more) to have an enjoyable stay. The welcome pack was a nice surprise, although with a store directly opposite so you would never go hungry! The apartment had 2 bathrooms (one ensuite) which is always handy and the beach was 2 minutes walk away. The HIgh Street was just around the corner, there is a fantastic gift shop at one end of the road and O'Loney and Randaddy's did the best meals and they were sea front (The Captain Table ran them close). Happily recommend this apartment as a good place to stay.

“Everything you could possibly need!” We've rented houses several times in the past but generally in holiday villages. This was the first time we opted for a private rental. The house was so well equiped that we commented on it several times. From items such as a beach blanket to games for the kids. Although the weather wasn't great there was still plenty to keep the kids (5 year old and 16 month old) amused. The quality of the furnishings in the house was top class and cleanliness was second to none. I wasn't really blown away by Doonbeg village itself. It's probably a dining destination for people staying in Kilkee. The pubs and restaurants were extremely quiet but probably livened up late in the evening. We were tied to early times and I'm not sure that I found it that great for small kids. Saying that Doonbeg Lodge was ideal. I didn't find it too much more expensive that other local restaurants and it was comfortable and spacious. I didn't feel too bad if the kids weren't seated at all times.

“Most Wonderfull Place in County Clare” High recommended cottage for family holidays. Lovely, very quiet cottage with big bedrooms and high comfortable King-Size-Beds. We never slept better! Excelent bathrooms & full equipped kitchen for all your needs. Doolin Breeze is a very good starting point for all activities around Lisdoonvarna and Doolin, the Cliffs of Moher are so near that you can visit them with bicycle. Wherever we go we found nice locations and very friendly people. We will keep this wonderful holiday and the loveliness and helpfulness of Maureen in our minds forever. For our next Ireland holidays we´ll come back to this lovely place!

“Wonderful stay - great location and great hosts” We had a great stay at the Gentian Cottage in March 2009. We stayed for a week and toured the Burren and surrounding area. The home was comfortable and Ann and her family were great hosts - they even let us take a private tour of Ballinalacken Castle (which is on their property). I've been to Ireland a couple of times and I would not hesitate to recommend the Gentian Cottage to anyone . . .

“Great family stay at 1 Castleview” Stayed here with family of four, two adults, two kids 10 & 11 for three nights. It was perfect. Accommodations comfortable, kitchen well equipped. Great location to explore Cliffs, the Burren. We look forward returning to County Clare and would definitely rent here again.

“Spectacular!!” I was just looking at pictures of this beautiful house the other night--what a beautiful, wonderful place to have had our home base as we explored the wonderful Emerald Isle! Ennis in Co Clare is perfectly situated for day trips to the west to explore the Burren and the coast, to the south to explore Dingle and Kerry, to the north to explore Galway and Connemara, to the east to explore Dublin. We only wish we could have stayed longer! The owners were just delightful people to deal with, especially allegra, and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful, clean and well-located place as our home base. We hope to return someday...soon...we hope...

“A perfect holiday in a perfect cottage” First of all there was the easy check-in and the very warm welcome. We felt really at home at the cottage and didn`t miss anything. We enjoyed our irish breakfast in the big kitchen and although the weather was quite fine also enjoyed the evenings in front of the fire-place. The cottage is situated a little bit outside Kilfenora (a nice little town with three pubs and the possibility to buy food and everything you need) so that you have really quiet holidays. On the other hand offers County Clare so much things to see and do. It is no problem to visit the whole west coast of clare from Brook Cottage in daytrips. We also traveled to the aran Islands by ship. Last but not least there are very good golf-oportunities near by. We played Lahinch, Doonbeg (both are "must-haves" for golfers), Ennis, Gort, Kilkee and Spanish Point. It was our 7th time in irland and we have to say: Brook cottage was the best cottage we rented! Margaret and P.J.: thank you very much!
