“Wonderful Home Away From Home!” If you're lucky enough to visit Cape Town South Africa, Blackwood Log Cabin is where you want to stay. This place is FANTASTIC. The accommodations are perfect with views of Table Mountain National Park just across a wooded valley and gardens on the property landscaped with beautiful native plants and even fish ponds and a pool! Don't know about you but when I think of a log cabin I envision camping out or at least living rather rustic. There's nothing about Blackwood Log Cabin that's rustic. It offers full privacy and all comforts that a visitor to this wonderful country could ask for. To complete the vacation package, you get to meet the owners Colette and Warren Riley. They made us feel so very welcome and offered much appreciated tourism information that was always right on the mark. Do we recommend Blackwood...YES. Would we stay here again...that's another resounding YES!
