“Clean, fun, good customer service” Even though this cabin was an older unit and the bathroom/sink set up was a little weird, it was comfortable and clean, and customer service was great, with very prompt responses. There's a lot to do in the area, either organized or not. It's a great place for wheeled exploring, like atvs, dirt bikers and mountain bikers, but works pretty well for 2 and 4-footed explorers as well. Very family friendly. A DVD player and/or WiFi access in the unit would have been nice.

“This place was awesome!!!” Plenty of room and plenty to do for the entire family. Fishing, rafting, and horseback riding nearby. Playgrounds and a lake for kids to fish made for the perfect vacation for everyone.The staff was very organized and went out of their way to make the stay fun and enjoyable. The cabin is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Would highly recommend Three Rivers Resort for one of your Best Vacations ever!!! My favorite part was the thrill of white water rafting, seeing the Big Horn Sheep, and of course the Hot Tub.

“Fabulous” We could not have asked for a better week in almont Colorado! The cabin was great and made great use of every square foot of space. The enclosed and outdoor deck was utilized daily and enjoyed by all. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Thank you for such a relaxing week away from home.

“It was fabulous!!” Our Corcoran Family Reunion was held here (for the 3rd time) with great success. Everything was super! Not all cabins had all the amenities but when you are vacationing -- you make do! Also, when the grown children are right next door we borrowed (can opener... better knife... etc) and put back in the right cabin before we left. Our Host and Hostess were the best!! “Cabin 13” Enjoyed our stay at Three Rivers. Check-in was fast and easy and the staff was very friendly. The cabin was very roomy and worked great for our group. Would definitely stay there again.

“Our family reunion was a great success.” This is the second family reunion we've had at your resort. Your staff is so helpful and just plain nice. They all act like they love their jobs-refreshing! The cabins are clean and perfect for families. We will definitely be back.

“Great place to stay!” We really enjoyed our stay at Three Rivers! It is right between Gunnison and Crested Butte, two great towns to visit! The staff was very friendly and very helpful. They booked us a Horseback ride with Fantasy Ranch, and it was one of the highlights of our trip! We only stayed 3 nights, but there is plenty to do if you wanted to stay the whole week, which we might just do next time. On a side note, we took a drive up the back road that runs past Three Rivers @ dusk one night and saw a Mountain Lion, they can't really take credit for this, but it was really cool!!

“Cute and cozy” We really enjoyed our stay in this small but cozy and functional cabin. Great idea for a weekend of fishing!

“It is a great value and offers plenty of peace and quiet!” Even though this cabin is not on the water, it offers a great home away from home with plenty of peace and quiet. Each morning I looked out the window and could see trees and mountain area and fresh air. A must go place.

“Great Stay” Our stay at 3 Rivers was great! Our room was clean and comfortable. We ate at the restaurant and it was good too! Everyone was friendly and helpful. The area is beautiful! We will be back!

“The Perfect Place and the Nicest People” I was looking for a place to celebrate my 30th birthday with 24 of my closest friends and our dogs and Three Rivers turned out to be perfect. We had tons if space, a good amount of privacy, and everyone at the resort was extremely friendly and accommodating! I will be back!

“Great Rental accommodations” My family & I stayed here for a week & felt welcomed the moment we walked in the door. We had great service & the cabin was fully equipped with everything we needed. The location couldn't be better, its about a 1/2 hour trip to most of the towns & taylor park reservoir. The onsite fishing was quite nice even though we didn't catch anything. It as an almost perfect experience except the fouton was a lumpy in the middle making it a bit uncomfortable, the video channels are few & there is no DvD player to watch movies. We had a bit of a cleaniness issue as well. There was dog hair on the fouton & bedspread and my 1 yr old found a little blue pill on the stairs. All in all we really enjoyed our stay & my family will certainly be back next year.

“Fantastic location - clean, quiet, and well equipped” Couldn't ask for a better location - right between Gunnison and the mountain...scenary is spectacular and the staff always has a smile and very helpful. Great coffee at the restaurant, too! The cabin had absolutely everything you could need and I was impressed with how clean it was. The setting was so peaceful and I was amazed at how quiet it was there at night for sleeping.

“Outstanding fishing location and great staff.” I took a spur of the moment fishing trip in mid September and stayed at Three Rivers Resort. The off season rates were unbeatable. The resort's proximity to great trout fishing on three different streams made it ideal. The staff was incredibly helpful and professional.

“We will be back!” Very cute, clean cabin. Great little kitchen. Our dog enjoyed the stay as well!

“Great Cabin!” Loved our weekend getaway at the Three Rivers Resort. Cabin was warm, comfortable and really clean. This one had access to the hot tub which was really nice. Fishing in teh area was stellar! I highly recommend this place. We can't wait to get back!

“We Will Return” My husband is visually impaired. He was able to walk to a fishing site. I could go off with my camera and not worry. We liked our cabin. I will ask for a river front next time. I do not recommend using the loft if your guest is 6 ft. 3 inches. Lofts are great for short children. I recommend you reserve a float and dine trip in advance. You must have four people and our other couple had to cancel.

“Wonderful experience” We had two adults and three children stay in this unit. It's cozy and comfortable. Everything was clean and well kept. I appreciated that all dishes and utensils were provided. There was even dishsoap and dishwasher pacs.

“Great time and very reasonable!” We were planning to go camping but decided to get a cabin instead so this was a huge step up from camping. Perfect cabin for our family of 4. Full kitchen, table to play games and our own bathroom. Nothing fancy and this cabin is next to other cabins but that was ok for us. Will definitely go back!

“A very peaceful and comfortable place to get away to.” Upon arriving at Three Rivers the staff greated us with warmth and cheerfulness. The cabin we stayed in was #23 which we found to be very charming and was settled in at the end of the row that gave a nice sense of privacy. The location is very nice because of the scenery and the close proximity to both Gunnison and Crested Butte. The restaurant had good food and very pleasant staff. We definitely enjoyed our stay and loved exploring the area, as this was our first trip to this part of Colorado. A very beautiful region and Three Rivers was a wonderful place to stay!

“This was a great location” We usually stay at the Taylor Cabins but were sold out and tried this place, was pleasantly surprised at the price and the accomadations! Will recommended this locations to others.

“Great River Location, fun time!” What a great place for a getaway! Our cabin had everything we needed except for a blow dryer. Great location, fun store, bar, & restaurant. We were visiting for a wedding and would love to come back with our RV. Just wish the min. days for RV spots were shorter than 5 days as we travel alot but only on the weekends.

“Clean,Quiet, and affordable” What started out years ago as a one time fishing trip to the almont area has become an annual event. Certainly the fishing has something to do with that. However, of equal importance is a comfortable place to stay. Given my positive experience at Three Rivers Resort over the past ten years, I can highly recommend a stay in one of their cabins. Mark, his family and resort staff roll out the welcome mat and are quick to accommodate any reasonable request. The cabins are well stocked, clean and always ready to go. I also appreciate their seasonal specials that make the whole thing affordable. Family and friends who have shared the week with me would agree. It is always hard to return home after a stay at Three Rivers Resort!

“Great place to relax and have fun.” The cabin was perfect, it was quiet and the view from the porch was nice. Store and restaurant on site was convenient. While I did not utilize the rafting and other adventure options, they looked great and would recommend them.

“So cozy, quaint, and perfect.” We had such a wonderful stay in almont in this cozy little cabin. Three Rivers is a great resort and the staff is always so kind and helpful. We have stayed here many times and will continue to stay here whenever we are in the area. It is an added bonus that they are pet friendly as we take our dogs with us wherever we can. The porch by the river is the perfect spot to sit back and relax. We love it here!

“Very clean and comfortable” We spent four nights in Cabin 34. It was a perfect spot for my husband and me, who had a private bedroom, and our 3 kids--2 of whom slept in the loft upstairs and the other of whom slept on the futon. The bathroom is tiny but clean. The kitchen is very nice. The whole cabin is very modern. I would probably prefer a riverside cabin next time for the scenery. That's the only thing that cabin 34 was lacking.

“Awesome!!!” The cabin was delightful!! Very clean and perfect for our needs. I highly recommend this unit! You can be guaranteed that we will be back!

“Long term stay” The staff at three rivers are wonderfully pleasant and helpful. The cabin was perfect for us, the right price, right on the bus line, and quiet. The perfect place if you want access to Gunnison or Crested Butte, but don't always right to be right in it.

“Perfect location, cabin was well-equipped.” We loved the view of the Taylor River and the surrounding mountains. The cabin was clean, and had everything we needed for our 6 night stay. The staff at the office were great! They might want or consider chopping down the pine tree that covered part of the river view from the covered porch, but it was a lovely place to sit and enjoy the sound of the river.

“Peaceful, beautiful, soothing sounds of the Taylor River.” We stayed in cabin (although it looked more like a boathouse) 61 for two nights, and had a delightful time. We did respond to a promotion for a small cabin and rafting trip, small was not the word for that cabin. (number 7) So we upgraded to the cabin 61 and although we spent more than we were originally intending, we were much happier! Owners/managers, Doug, in particular couldn't have been more helpful. Nice people and nice place.

“Rustic Relaxation” Our cabin was wonderful. We would rate it higher, but, not everyone will appreciate the rustic, simple, one room cabin as much as we did. The cabin was clean, has appliances, AC and had all of the linens and kitchen supplies. Three Rivers is a great place. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a wonderful smoked chicken dinner with fries, beans and cole slaw all for under $11. We highly recommend Three Rivers cabins for couple and families. There are insight games for children and adults. The cabins are located within a few minutes of Crested Butte, mountain and hiking trails and very near Taylor Reservoir.

“Awesome!” I love this place, this was my second time staying there. The staff treats you like if you were family, accomodations are super comfy, beautiful area and great activities to choose from reasonably priced.

“Epic!” As always the staff, accommodations, views, fishing and weather was amazing. We love our annual trip here and are considering making it a twice a year thing.

“Perfect Location” It would be tough to find a better location to spend some time in the Colorado rockies. The Taylor river is just feet from the porch and the fishing in the area is excellent. The cabin itself was clean and served us well. The loft works best for kids but we had two adults who slept there comfortably. The only complaint was that the couch cushions were completely crushed, making it an uncomfortable place to sit for extended periods. The resort staff met all of our needs, and the on-site restaurant was great. All in all, a great place to stay and we'll be back.
