“Fabulous family lodge on Lake Wanaka” Buchanan Lodge is an utterly fantastic place to stay. We had a week there in winter with a group of friends and family and it was the perfect place to relax after a big day on the ski-field or after a big walk. The facilities are wonderful, modern and cosy and the views are stunning. As a Kiwi living in London, it was a real treat to be in such a peaceful place. The Hot Tub is a perfect place to relax and star-gaze and everyone from Grandad to teenagers were very comfortable in their rooms. Having rented holiday homes all over the globe, this is definitely in our top 3.
