A shared pool just steps below that is usually yours alone with the same spectacular view. A real "home away from home" and so comfortable when returning from a day at the beach, sailing, hiking or exploring any of the unique places on the island. “Beautiful home, beautiful view” We really enjoyed our stay on St John, and the Villa Catalini was a very nice house, very clean, well appointed, gorgeous view. The basement room was accessed from outside of the house which the kids liked, and we enjoyed the peace and quiet that provided. We stayed at 6 homes during our 6 week vacation and this was the kids favorite. Be warned the roads on St John are very steep, and a 4x4 is required even to get up some of the paved roads on a dry day. I have no ideas for any improvements, it was great.

“Vacation Paradise” White Sea Gull was amazing! The views were spectacular! Jacqueline was amazing, she attended to everything we could possibly need, the room was more beautiful than expected! Quiet, clean, lovely breezes, beautiful view any time of day! What a way to wake up! We couldn't have enjoyed this stay any more, just not enough good things to say about the rental or the owner!!! Such a romantic, relaxing place for two! Lots of personal touches from the owner, antiques throughout. We have been to St. John several times before, and this is by far the most charming, comfortable setting we have found! The furniture is beautiful, and Jacqueline has thought of every little thing! Beach chairs, cooler,& towels provided, just show up and enjoy!! Better than any picture, all that is advertised and more! We loved it! So much so, that I cried when I had to say goodbye and give the key back. Can't wait to see you again Jacqueline!

“What a wonderful place to have a vacation !” We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Villa was very clean and beautifully decorated. The views from every room are just fantastic. The pool area is a perfect place to enjoy everthing St John has to offer. The mountains, Coral bay. We enjoyed just sitting on the deck relaxing. This is what a vacation is all about. Erickson was extremely helpful as he has always been in the past.Thank you for a special place to stay. We will be back next year.

“Drake's View Villa Is a Dream” My husband and I were fortunate enough to return to St John for the 2nd time in one year and stayed at Drake's View Villa. The house was perfect! The weather didn't cooperate this time around but we still had a fabulous stay. The caretakers were wonderful and the house was pristinely clean. The beds were super comfortable and the house had ever ammenity to make you comfortable and feel right at home. This villa was just as described but better! The large kitchen had all of the utensils one would need for cooking a large meal. The views from just about every room in the house were breathtaking and there was always a wonderful breeze that we only needed the bedroom aC once during our 12 day stay. Staying at Drake's View Villa made us feel like we were at home away from home! On a clear day you can see at least 3 other islands if not more! Sitting on the front veranda enjoying coffee while relaxing and reading was one of the highlights of our stay! Bathrooms are spacious and super clean! Poor area is spectacular. Hot tub a bonus! Thank you to Dorothy, Fernando, and a very special thanks to the owners for allowing us to stay in your beautiful, supremely equipped home! If you stay at Drake's View Villa you will feel like you are in paradise and you will not be disappointed! Dvv is on the north shore but it does not take long to get to town, for gas, or groceries. The only thing we could not find was umbrellas as it was unusually rainy throughout our stay but hopefully if you stay at DVV you won't need an umbrella!! I would recommend this villa highly to anyone looking for a fabulous vacation home to rent! That comes from someone who is extremely picky and OCD about cleanliness and feeling comfortable while away! I slept like a baby every night! You will not go wrong by staying at Drake's View Villa! Enjoy!!!
