Home description
Delightful 2 bedroom bungalow style villa. One double room with en-suite. One twin room. Family bathroom. Sofa bed in lounge converts to another double so can easily sleep 6 people. Sofa also has another pull out single bed creating a total of seven beds (though this would mean 3 sharing the lounge area).
Fully equipped kitchen with Fridge Freezer, Washing Machine, Dishwasher, Microwave, Toaster, Kettle, etc. Air conditioning in lounge and bedrooms - can be switched to blow warm air in the winter months. English satellite TV with 30 channels including Movie and Sport channels, plus additional 20 digit radio channels. DVD player, CD stereo, books, children's games, etc.
Use of communal pool only open to residents on this small complex. The community is gated which prevents anybody else from wandering in and provides added security.
Within walking distance of many bars and restaurants serving all nationalities of food. You can also walk to the beach within about 25 minutes. Beach areas recently modernised with promenade, beach bars, etc.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
This region of Spain has an average of over 300 days sunshine per year, and at least 6 hours sunshine per day. It is among the best climates in the world for conditions such as asthma and arthritis according to the World Health Organisation. As well as being within walking distance of the beaches at Playa Flamenca, the villa is just a short drive from the beaches of Guardamar, Cabo Roig, Campoamor, La Zenia, Punta Prima, Torrevieja, plus others. The golf courses of Villa Martin, Las Ramblas, and La Finca are all within 15-20 minutes drive.

Within just ten minutes walk there is a new development of shops, bars and restaurants to meet all your needs. New restaurants, bars and shops are still opening in this centre, but already you will find Chinese, Indian, French, German, Spanish, Mexican, Hungarian and Polish and even Fish & Chips. You will also find English pubs, Irish pubs, Spanish tapas bars and café bars. Some of the bars stay open until the early hours of the morning.
Slightly further away, but still within walking distance are the Villa Park I & II complexes with another selection of places to eat and drink.
In the commercial centre (see above) you will find a Quicksave. This is open 7 days a week, to 8 o’clock on most nights (shorter hours at weekends). This is very convenient, especially when you first arrive.
A number of supermarkets are within a very short distance of the villa.
How to get there
Playa Flamenca is situated approximately half way between Alicante and Murcia airports. Cheap flights are available on a number of budget airlines including Easyjet, Ryanair, Monarch Airlines and FlyBMI. Once at the airport the villa is easily reached by either the coastal road or the inland motorway. We can pass on details of a recommended car hire company or can arrange airport transfers for a small additional cost if you do not wish to hire a car.

1. The property was close to local services and restaurants etc. The property was in a nice quiet area. The property itself seemed quite new and was clean and tidy. I'd recommend a stay in it to anyone.
2. Two adults, three children. We visited in August 2005 and then again in April 2006. Very enjoyable stay with all local amenities being within walking distance. Villa was clean and tidy and surrounding areas, i.e gardens and pool also very well kept. This was a quiet and relaxing location and we felt that the villa was like being "home from home".
