We are located just a 5 minute drive down our private trail or a 20 minute walk to the best surf and sun beaches in the area. Transportation: A four wheel drive high clearance vehicle IS REQUIRED for accessing not only Casa Culebra, but the majority of the surfing beaches north and south of San Juan del Sur. We are located 12 km (20 min) from town on country, dirt roads and as the Balcones community is perched on a hill from the main road a 4 x 4 vehicle will make your stay much more enjoyable!
