About the home

Welcome to our beautiful villa with private heated outdoor swimming pool, set in the coastal town of Miami Playa, Costa Duarada - only 200m from golden Mediterranean beaches, shops and a choice of excellent restaurants and bars. 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, separate kitchen, lounge with dining area and patio doors to the spacious rear terrace. This terrace overlooks the private heated swimming pool with outdoor shower & brick bbq, and surrounding garden area, which is beautifully arranged, with sunloungers and seating/tables. The villa is well-equipped internally (features include UK TV on Freesat; DVD; Sony stereo with iPod dock. Microwave oven and washing machine), and with secure parking. Only a 20 minute drive from Reus airport and less than a 90 minute drive from Barcelona airport. Port Aventura theme park, Cambrils fishing village/Marina and Salou beach are only a short drive from the area.

While we will welcome smokers to our house, we ask that guests do not smoke in the bedrooms, and where possible that the terraces be the main 'smoking areas'.

The Costa Dorada/Tarragona region

Costa Duarada offers the opportunity to experience what is still rural Spain. There are many coastal bays and villages along the Costa Duarada which offer long stretches of sandy beach, calm warm seas, and traditional Catalan food - fresh fish, rice dishes, seafood, and local cooking in an environment where everything is still "Manana".

The Costa Duarada offers many other interests, from Port Aventura theme park, Cambrils fishing village/Marina and Tarragona to visiting the great city of Barcelona. This is also a great place for walkers and cyclists as there are spectacular mountain and sea views to be seen all around. The Costa Duarada also supports some great golf courses as well as fishing on the magnificent River Ebro.

The wonderful climate in this region is still divided into seasons. On hot summer days you can always find a refreshing sea breeze over Miami Playa. At an average yearly temperature of 18 degrees Celcius and approximately 300 days of sun, you can enjoy a stay in Miami Playa almost all year round. The hottest months are July and August, with winter covering December through to February.

The Miami Playa area

Miami Playa is a superb seaside resort situated in the Costa Duarada, in the rich and lovely area known as Catalonia. Miami Playa has beautiful sandy and shingle bays, which are broken by small coves, all the beaches are exceptionally clean and safe. Close to the well known Salou beach, Cambrils fishing village/Marina and Port Aventura theme park. Port Aventura has a multitude of exciting rides, colourful shows, a wide variety of restaurants - it is a fantastic experience for the whole family!

The nearest airport is Reus (just 20 minutes drive, taxi fare €45). Flights with Ryanair from Stansted, Luton, Liverpool & Glasgow. Other convenient airports include Barcelona & Girona.

“A great house with a lovely swimming pool in a nice area.” Next year we will be going to this fine place in Miami Playa for the fifth time running. My wife and I with our 3 King Charles Spaniels, which are all safe and have a great freedom around the house, always have a tremendous time at this large place with beautiful terrace and clean swimming pool at the back of the house. Your privacy is guaranteed, due to the well looked after garden and good and closed fencing. Nearby are supermarkets and also other shops to visit and with a few minutes drive away, lovely beaches and good fine restaurants. This place is recommendable to all who are reaching out for a great payable and trustworthy holiday, with all the fine things in life to undertake, in beautiful sunny Spain. We can't wait to start and travel from Holland, for our next holiday to Villa Casa Jerome.

“Great hause, You wont be disappointed” The owner is very helpfull, answer all quastions and give all the informations about the house and the place. The house is very confortable, good to stay there with family, kids and friends also. You can feel like at home, but still a great holiday.
