The Costa Calida region


Costa Calida or 'The Warm Coast' is a 250 km of coastline in the province of Murcia which boasts high mean annual temperatures hence its name.
A unique feature of this area is the Mar Menor or 'Little Sea' - Europe's largest saltwater lagoon said to be famous for its healing properties. It is bordered by the Mainland coastline and the La Manga strip.
The area is also a golf haven with a 9 hole course walking distance from the apartment and many courses and resorts such as the famous La Manga Club and three championship courses, Torre Pacheo, Haciena del Alamo, Villamartin, Campomar, Polaris World and many more within a short drive.

Go karting, kite surfing, jet skis and many more water sports can be found locally within the area.
The La Manga Del Mar Menor / La Manga Strip area
La Manga is close to the fishing port of Cabo de Palos which is located before the main La Manga strip. It has many bars and restaurants with an active night life.
Cartegena is the closest city which a short drive away offering many more amenities and attractions.

We stayed here in January 2012. The apartment is immaculate, contemporary and very spacious. The views from the lounge, master bedroom and balcony are amazing. Very easy to find and would definitely stay here again. |

We stayed at Euromarina in July and enjoyed it so much we went back again at the end of August. The apartment had everything we needed and was located right in front of the beach and with 2 large pools (plus a childrens small pool). I plan to go back again I liked it so much. |
