Beautiful beachfront penthouse with breathtaking sea views over the Peninsula of La Manga between the Mediterranean Sea and Mar Menor. Sandy, several miles long beach is just next to the building from the pool area on the Mediterranean shore, while there are also several smaller beaches on the Mar Menor side within walking distance. The climate of the area is one of the healthiest in the world with approximately 300 sunny days. Perfect place for sun and water sport lovers.
Yacht port and Golf Club is also in the vicinity. There are two communal swimming pools in the private area. Ideal for small children as the water in the Mar Menor beaches is very shallow. Car recommended.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region
La Manga is situated approximately 80 miles South of Alicante on the Costa Calida and is famous for the La Manga Strip . This unique peninsular divides the Mediterranean Sea from the natural lagoon known as The Mar Menor .
The Mar Menor is the largest natural lagoon in Europe and is very shallow . Due to this the sea is calmer and stays at an average temperature of 18 C throughout the year . The climate is very hospitable with 300 sunny days annually. . Inland from the strip is the world renowned La Manga Golf Club which is home to a 5 star hotel , casino , bars and restaurants alongside three championship golf courses . It also boasts a top Football Coaching Academy and is used for training purposes by many of the worlds best Football teams , including the England squad . The two nearest large towns are Murcia , the area capital , and Cartagena a beautiful coastal city with fabulous shopping , Roman Ruins and many beautiful old buildings over the Port of Cartagena . The Port has an interesting boat trip that gives you a history of the local culture .
La Manga Del Mar Menor / La Manga Strip area
La Manga strip is ideal for a beach holiday and water sports. Many of the local beaches on the Mar Menor coast are well known for the therapeutic clay which can be found by wading out in the water , this is full of minerals and salts. There are boat and ferry trips available from the local marina including to the town of Santiago de las Ribiera a lovely place with water front cafes and a local market on a Thursday or it is possible to charter or hire your own boat from there.
There are numerous hotels , bars , cafes , restaurants and beaches along both coastlines , there are two harbours and many sailing schools. A wide variety of cuisine is available including Spanish tapas bars and restaurants, English , French , Mexican , Asian ones. The food is excellent and it is lovely to sit out on a warm evening and watch the sun go down over the mountains across the water .
How to get there
La Manga Strip is easily reached from both Alicante (El Altet) and Murcia (San Javier) airports on motorway. The nearest airport is San Javier, Murcia - which is only 20 mins drive away. Further details indoors: This attractive apartment has two bedrooms for 4 persons, both with built-in wardrobes, the master of which has a double bed and the second bedroom is equipped with single beds. There are two bathrooms one with full size bath, the other with shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with hob, oven, washing machine, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and dishwasher. The spacious living room is equipped with sofa-beds and has a separate dining area. The apartment is air-conditioned. There are two sizable terraces one opening from the living room and the other is attached to the sleeping rooms. There is lift in the house directly from the garage and the main entrance.
The property is suitable for early spring and late autumn stay being equipped with two cold and hot air-conditioning and two electric heaters.
Further details outdoors: The building is located directly beside the Mediterranean Sea with access to the beach through the pool area. There are two communal swimming pools (one for adults and one for children).
Playa Chica of Mar Menor is just across the street within 100 meter distance. The beach time is even more enjoyable sitting in the beach bar.
Private parking space with lift directly to the penthouse. With restaurants, bars and shops closeby this location is ideally situated.
