The Rhineland/Rhine Valley region

Besides the Rhein and Mosel Rivervalleys and Vineyards We are at the junction of 3 wonderfull National Parks:

Vulcano Park in The Eifel http://vulkanpark.com/en/

Time traveling into the world of the Eifel volcanoes

The volcano park in the area between Mayen and Koblenz

A volcanic region in the heart of Germany – inactive but not extinct. Only 13,000 years ago the eruption of the Laacher-See-Volcano shaped Germany's youngest landscape in the area between Mayen and Koblenz. Was this event the beginning of a new era of volcanic activity or was it the end of a period of repeating eruptions lasting many millennia?

Upper Middle Rhine Valley http://whc.unesco.org/en/list/1066

The 65km-stretch of the Middle Rhine Valley, with its castles, historic towns and vineyards, graphically illustrates the long history of human involvement with a dramatic and varied natural landscape. It is intimately associated with history and legend and for centuries has exercised a powerful influence on writers, artists and composers.

Hiking Westerwald - The Westerwald-Steig

In the middle of Rhineland-Palatinate, in the heart of nature.

Hiking is in the Westerwald written bold! Since May 2008, the imprinted as "Qualitätsweg Walking in Germany" certified Westerwald-Steig the hiking region of Westerwald . In the middle between Cologne and Frankfurt, bounded by the Rhine, Sieg, Lahn Dill and which is Westerwald a green oasis.

Koblenz Am Rhein

Our village is located between former possessions of the dukes Zur Wied , Nodhausen Park, today a restaurant ( gourmet cuisine ) ,Manor Monrepos (an Ice Age museum from 2014 ) and Hahnhof ( cozy , rustic forest inn ) .

Segendorf lies in a side valley east of the Rhine , it borders the Westerwald to the north with, for example, the Cycle route along the Wied.

The Limes hiking trail is 200mtr to the south , and the Rhine trail 300 meters above us . The remains of what was the largest Roman barracks on the Rhine are to the east.

Under the Red Beech you can be close to nature and relax, but also connect with WiFi , TV and Tel.

In Neuwied the ' Deichwelle ' offers a first class leisure pool with spa. And nearby, visitors will find the Neuwied Icerink, open from September to April. Neuwied also boasts the largest zoo in RLP .

In a few car minutes you are in Koblenz , the romantic Middle Rhine and the Mosel . Or visit Cologne, Andernach with its waterspout, or secluded wine-growing Leutesdorf with the unique Blackberry Brewery in the hills above

People on a business trip or a family visit , will appreciate the supportive environment with self-catering option .

My atelier “lifepaths” is in the house. I could take you on an artistic path of discovery; Who needs some time out or is at one of life's turning points, can be guided on biography or questions of destiny. If interested please discuss beforehand.

Childcare and children's classes are available . As former nanny , teacher, and now practicing child therapist I have much experience, and joy, with children ,

My partner and I welcome a conversation , if that is so wished.

Line 59 runs from / to Neuwied (from the station change at Marktplatz for Waldesruh ') , then we are around 200 meters up the Nodhausener Str .

Access by car via the A61 or A3 exit Neuwied then B256 exit Oberbieber / Niederbieber .
