Extended blue top villa with 2 bedrooms with one bathroom and one shower room and an air conditioned open plan kitchen/living room into dining room, enormous roof terrace with turret room (with patio furniture and BBQ) and views towards the salt lakes and Torrevieja, private courtyard and front and side terraces, off road parking and a beautiful communal pool in a tropical setting (150 metre walk). We have satellite TV with English channels, DVD player and I Pod dock. We have endeavoured to make it a home from home and it is an ideal base for exploring the Costa Blanca.
Our house is only 2 min walk from a supermarket, local bars and restaurants and the Quesada Country Club. The main town of Quesada itself with it's numerous bars, restaurants, banks, doctors etc is 15 min walk or a few minutes drive. The local aqua park is a few minutes drive as is La Maquesa Golf Club. There are at least 5 other golf clubs within 15/20 mins drive. The local 18 km blue flag ,white sandy beach of Guardamar is a 10 min drive through orange and lemon groves. Torrevieja, the main town of the area, is a 10 min drive, here you can enjoy an evening stroll along the port and promenade where there is a craft market every night as well as a fun fair and many bars/restaurants and shops and other amenities.

This property has air conditioning to main living area and master bedroom. Ceiling fans are also fitted to both bedrooms. There is a 'faux' log burner electric fire for a touch of cosiness in the winter. There is also a heater in the bathroom.
2 high quality Z-beds are provided to enable 6 to sleep (property recommended for up to 4 adults and 2 children).
Large indoor dining table seats 4 but extends to seat 6 comfortably (extra chairs from breakfast table) but most of your eating will mainly be done outdoors where there are dining areas in the central courtyard and the roof terrace.

Enormous roof terrace ( for those sunworshippers it gets the sun all day), turret room housing sun loungers, tables, chairs, parasols and BBQ, the turret room providing a cool breeze, a cool retreat ideal for those wishing to escape the Spanish sun.
Our private courtyard has an outside hot/cold shower ideal for a quick cool off after sunbathing on the roof top or for washing those sandy feet off after a day at the beach!
The utility room is situated off the courtyard under the stairs to the roof top, this houses a washing machine and various outdoor/beach equipment (including golf clubs and 2 bikes).
Municipal tennis courts can be found in Quesada. Snooker/outdoor bowls to be found at Quesada Country Club (2 mins walk). There is also a 10 pin bowling club just opened in Quesada, 4 euros a game.

All bed linen, towels etc provided but please bring own beach towels.

Bookings are totally flexible on days and time of arrival/departure dependant on a short changeover when we may ask for guests to leave by 10am and to arrive after 4pm.
The Valenciana region
The Costa Blanca (White Coast) is known for it's miles upon miles of white sandy beaches, the North being more mountainous, rugged and green, the south being flatter and drier with lemon and orange groves as far as the eye can see. The annual climate averages 20 degrees C with over 300 days of sun per year. The area is reputed to be one of the healthiest places in the world to live (or holiday) due to a micro climate created by the salt lakes, it's laid back lifestyle and recreational facilities.
The area has a wide range of attractions for the visitor from historical towns, tourist resorts such as Benidorm through to nature parks and mountains for walking and birdwatching, numerous golf courses, and of course miles upon miles of white sandy coastline and the inland sea of Mar Menor for various water sports.
ITo summarise there is something for everybody.
A good base for exploring the whole of the Costa Blanca with easy access to the AP-7 and the coast road. Within a few minutes we have 2 golf courses, La Maquesa and La Finca Championship golf courses, a lovely ( good value for money) aqua park for the children (summer months only), tennis, bowls, horseriding, go karting and numerous bars and restaurants catering for all tastes.
10 min drive is very Spanish town of Guardamar with it's 18 km white sandy beach backed by sand dunes and palm trees, beautiful park with small lakes, birds, red squirrels and for the children a play area, there is also a delightful promenade and Wednesday morning market.
10 min drive also is the main town of Torrevieja with it's port area, larger water park, shopping, bars and nightclubs, cinemas, bowling alley, you name it, a good place to go for an evening stroll along the promenade with it's fun fair and craft market. Friday morning is market day.
Within half an hour is the shoe making capital of Elche, with the largest palm tree grove in Europe and gardens and safari park; Orihuela, old old capital of the area, very historical if faded; Alicante, with castle (a must see), shopping, museums and beautiful marina. Boat trips can be taken from any of the towns along the coast. And of course Benidorm is 45 mins drive north with Terra Mitica (the largest theme park in Europe) Aqualandia and everything else you have heard about this infamous tourist resort.
The spectular Guadalest is around an hour away and is also a must see.
There are local markets every day (our local ones being Sunday morning) and of course fiestas which shouldn't be missed. In essence there is something for everyone whether it is soaking up the sun or exploring the whole of the Costa Blanca.

"Relaxing Break - Great Villa"
Arrived to receive a lovely welcome Easter card & details of local supermarket/opening times, voucher book, local papers.
The villa was clean & spacious. Plenty big enough for a family 5-6; we didn't use the shared pool but it was close, clean and well presented.
Ample seating in the villa and on the roof terrace.
Easy to walk into Quesada town (10 mins); some bars/supermarket local within 2 mins walk.
Overall, great value for money! Would recommend.

"Beautiful Spanish Property A* excellent holiday!"
We stayed during the height of Summer fantastic weather. The property is set in a lovely area with all local ammenities a short walk through a peaceful area with all you could possibly need. The house itself is beautifully maintained and well equipped for six of us that stayed kept and cleaned to a very high standard. The house owners proivided full details and information as we required a hire car and further information as we had not travelled to this area before, they were extremely helpful and the points of contact provided to us in Spain were also very useful and friendly. The house has an extremely homely atmosphere and also has a large BBQ area to which we used most evenings before venturing out to Benidorm etc. I would recommend this villa for people of all ages as it is a perfect place to go on holiday. Excellent value for money, smooth booking process and extremely helpful owners we would highly recommend this villa and will definately be booking again for a longer stay.

"Excellent apartment - anyone booking will not be disappointed."
Lovely property, well presented and in a great location. Restaurants, bars, Country Club, supermarket, shops etc all within a few minutes walk. The swimming pool is well kept and secluded. The roof terrace is an added bonus with storage for sun beds, bbq, umbrellas etc. For those hiring a car, Guadamar beach, Benidorm, Alicante are all just a short drive away. To summarise, a lovely, comfortable, clean holiday apartment close to all amenities. Our stay was most enjoyable and we intend booking for a return visit sometime soon.

We were a group of twenty somethings and found this villa to be perfect for our needs. We found it clean and well equipped inside with plenty of sunloungers, the bbq and dining areas outside and the views from the roof terrace were fab. With 5 of us the 2 bathrooms came in useful. It was a really good location and we made friends at the Quesada Country Club and with some lovely Spanish neighbours who even made us tortilla. We found eating and drinking really reasonable (couldn't believe the prices 8-10 euros for a 2 to 3 course meal sometimes with wine included)! The fact that we could just walk out in the evening to the local bars or into Quesada was a big bonus!! When we weren't swimming, sunbathing bbqing and hanging around the villa we did actually hire a car and visited Benidorm, Torreveija and Guardamar and some of the beaches so did actually see a bit of Spain. Thanks, we all had a fab time and are thinking of rebooking for this year.

"Wonderful Bungalow, Great Location - Good Value for Money"
A lovely bright and airy deceptively spacious bungalow. The pool was one of the nicest we have encountered, my son and his friend spent a lot of time there! Made good use of the roof terrace for BBQs and internal courtyard where we ate all our meals when we didn't eat in the many local restaurants,we were spoilt for choice there. The boys (age 19 & 20) visited the local bars and nightlife, they also made use of the 2 bikes provided and rode into Torreveija and along the river into Guardamar. This bungalow really did tick all the boxes and we will definitely be returning.

"Perfect location for golf, beach and sightseeing,"
This property is well equipped and very clean and tidy. It's very comfortable and suitable for short or long stays. In a ideal position, convenient for the beach, local golf course's and exploring the local area. There are bars, restaurants and supermarkets all within a short walk.
The owners dealt with my booking in a very professional way, and provided helpful tips and hints.
A very enjoyable stay and would not hesitate to book again in the future.
