Relax around the pool on the deck chairs provided, have a game of tennis, jump into the pool or strole along the beach do whatever takes your fancy as it is all available at Sri Sayang. The resort condominium caters to both adults and children and the apartment is a home away from home.

Sri Sayang is a gated community with 24 hour security and all of the modern conveniences that you would need to make your holiday a pleasurable experience.

A luxuriously appointed fully renovated and tastefully furnished privately owned 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with the sea at your door step and the lush rolling hills as the back drop.

The unit is fully equipped with a kitchen, laundry area, spacious private living room and a dining area from which guests can take in the superb views of Batu Ferringhi, the beach, the hills and the mainland in the distance.

The unit is fully air-conditioned and ceiling fans are also installed, although the sea breezes on offer may limit your wanting to use them. The unit is very tastefully and fully furnished just bring your beach towels! Satellite TV is installed with channels including BBC, CNN plus many others should you wish to catch up with what is happening in the outside world. The unit is privately owned by a fastidious owner who aims to please.

All the necessary appliances have been installed in the kitchen. There is a fully automatic washing machine available for your use. There is a convenience store that stocks the basics in the complex.
The unit is fully kitted out with linen and all the necessary crockery and cutlery, kitchen cooking items (although you may wish to dine out regularly as Penang is well known for the diverse range of delicious and very reasonably priced hawker fare on offer). Restaurants and hawker stalls are located a few hundred yards from the complex.

A fully refundable deposit of GBP200 or Ringgit 1000 is required for stays on this apartment. To secure a booking a deposit of 25% of the full rental cost is required. Balance can be paid on or before check-in. There is a one-off cleaning and laundry charge of ringgit 100 to be paid on arrival.

Exclusive use of an internet broadband USB modem is available for ringgit 10 per day.

The Penang Island region

Penang's climate is equatorial, with a very pleasant mix of warm, sunny days and the occasional cooling rain storms. It is widely know as the Pearl of the Orient and is an island that has been attractive to travellers and visitors over the centuries.

Penang has perhaps more on offer per square mile than any other place in the world. For sheer variety of locals, cultures and foods. Penang is hard to beat. Georgetown the capital boasts Southesast Asia's largest collection of intact prewar buildings. Stroll past a century old church, a Chinese temple, an Indian temple and a Muslim mosque all with a short distance of each other. Sample the delicious hawker foods which seem to be available on every corner of the city twenty four hours a day seven days a week. Festivals occur throughout the year and life goes on at a slow pace that most visitors can only envy.

Of course should one wish to leave the city there is always the peace and tranquility of the
beaches and the hills. Many attractions abound outside the city including a Butterfly Farm, a Tropical Spice Garden, Fruit Farm, Penang Hill Railway, Batik Factory and of course the food is an experience in itself.

The Batu Ferringhi area

Batu Ferirnghi, situated along the coastal road north-west of Georgetown and lined with a string of international-standard resorts, is the most popular beach in Penang.

Soak in the sun or unwind on the beach while you enjoy a host of aquatic thrills from wind-surfing to canoeing. For a spine-tingling adventure, try para-sailing to enjoy the view of the beach from the sky. Horse riding is available as is jet skiing and the usual beach pursuits for the adults and children.

As the sun sets, Batu Ferringhi comes alive with a carnival-like atmosphere with an open-air bazaar selling anything from ornate curios to enticing souvenir items. Watch local artisans demonstrate the intricate art of craft-making and batik-painting. Dubbed the Ferringhi Walk, the bazaar offers shoppers a host of attractions.
The bazaar is held every evening of the year along the footpath that runs on either side of the main road that winds its way through Batu Ferringhi. Many bargains are to be had for the smart shopper, so make sure that you do bargain the price as that is what you are expected to do. Stalls sell everything from clothes, DVDs CDs, jewelery and other local and imported handicrafts.

Fly to Penang International Airport which is served by Malaysia Airlines, Pelangi Air, Air Asia, Cathay Pacific, Eva Air, Garuda Indonesia, Thai International, China Southern Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Japan Airlines, Jetstar and other airlines.

- Miami Green is some 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the time of the day traveled, from the Penang International Airport.
- Airport limousines and taxis are plentiful, affordable and always available at the arrival lounge counter on a prescribed rate coupon system.
-Pickup from the airport by minibus, for a maximum of 8 persons, can also be organised should you require that service.

“Awesome Apartment!” We stayed at this apartment on the 25th floor at Sri Sayang for 8 nights in July 2011 - my husband, myself and 4 year old son. I booked online and dealing with Suzie was an absolute pleasure. She was more than happy to assist with any queries and also booked our airport transfers on our behalf at very cheap rates. Once we arrived we were greeted by Suzie and Delia and was shown around the apartment. They had gone to so much trouble to make us feel welcome, stocking the kitchen with snacks for our little boy, and milk drinks and bottled water in the fridge so we didn't have to rush out to get supplies. Having met the lovely owners made us appreciate the apartment even more and to look after it on their behalf. I had been a little hesitant about being in a highrise with a young child but felt quite comfortable since the apartment had no outside balcony (it was built in, so had a larger living area) we were still able to appreciate the amazing sea views from the dining area as well as both bedrooms. The apartment was immaculate and so comfortable, set up with everything you could need. Having two bedrooms and two bathrooms gave us lots of space as well as laundry facilities which were very handy with a young child. The complex had a lovely pool which we made use of as well as a restaurant which had great food at very reasonable prices. Although on the edge of Batu Ferringhi we found Sri Sayang to be in a good location, we could either walk into town or made use of the bus which ran about every half hour with a bus stop directly out front of the complex. We would definitely stay here again and can't wait to go back.
