This beautiful alpine region offers the intrigue of it's ancient town, Bansko, together with the National Park providing superb winter sports facilities for all abilities. The ski season is from December until mid April in the Rhodope and Pirin Mountains. The summers are short and fairly hot providing a wonderful climate for hiking, cycling and sightseeing of the cultural interests found locally.
