Umoja, Your own quit spot in the African bush

Umoja bush villa is what the title says: a private villa on a large plot of land in the bush. Well, in the middle of the bush ... You find yourself in the middle of the bush with all animals, plants and tranquility, but in fact you're sitting on 100 meters of a neighboring villa and a 10 km drive from the town of Phalaborwa. But the good thing is that you don't notice that the civilized world is so close ! Umoja has all the amenities you would want to have when you're at home or on holiday in the Western world. At the same time sitting on your patio you get the real African feeling. Numerous animals pass your terrace or even come to drink at the waterhole your terrace overlooks. Examples include: giraffes, elephants, waterbuck, several other antelopes and many other animals and birds. Nightly visits can be made by occasional visitors such as hyenas and a leopard or porcupine. Lying in your bed you dream away in the laughter of the hyena in the distance. This is Africa :-) The neighboring town of Phalaborwa has all the needed facilities (including its own airport with excellent connections to Johannesburg) and shops and even has its own entrance to the world famous Kruger National Park. Definately worth it, but to see Kruger, you do not actually leave the premises where Umoja is. The site borders namely directly to the Kruger Park. If you still want to visit the Kruger park (very worthwhile) then Umoja is an excellent base for day trips. The rest camps Mopani, Olifants and Letaba and Kruger are all use the road in terms of distance and time to do fine for a day trip. With a little luck you'll see the same animals as in the better-known south, with the advantage that the area is more quiet and in terms of landscape is more open. Do you enjoy more than day trips in the region, the nearby area of Hoedspruit has enough daytrips. The information available in the villa allows you to quickly and easily familiarize what is all going on in the region.
