Located in the lush gated-community of Playacar with a lovely 15-20 minute stroll along the ocean to lively Playa del Carmen. This villa is perfect for families or larger groups as it offers all guests privacy and space.

PRIVATE CHEF SERVICES

We offer the services of a highly trained Chef who'll impress you with her culinary skills! She specializes in Mexican cuisine yet can also prepare other types of cuisines depending on your tastes, allergies, preferences etc.

CHEF SERVICES & MEAL PLANS

*Chef will prepare breakfast & lunch each day, 6 days per week - 9am - 3pm. Dinner is not included.

*A sample menu will be sent to you for menu planning.

*Chef can accommodate food allergies, & preferences (vegetarian, vegan) etc.

*Groceries, grocery delivery (minimal) & gratuities are extra. (A budget can be designed with you based on your meals choices in advance of your stay.)

*A maximum of 8 guests is allowed in the villa unless otherwise agreed upon. We can accommodate up to 2 children 10 & under.

*To rent this villa you must be 25 years of age or older.

THINGS WE CANNOT CONTROL

*Due to warming ocean conditions, sargassum (a form of algae) can occur in the Mexican Caribbean during the warmer spring & summer months. We cannot predict when it will occur or if it will be disruptive to swimming & use of the beaches. It can be clear one day & then the next there can be an influx of it.) The city cleans the beaches to the best of their ability. We have hired a company to come a few times per week to help clean the area in front of the villa.

* Typically the beaches in Playacar are the best; however, throughout the year tides & winds can shift & erode the beach. As quick as it appears, it can also return to normal.

*The Jacuzzi is a bonus feature. It is set at 40C but due to being on the ocean it may not reach that temperature. This is not a malfunction of the Jacuzzi. It is in use a lot & parts are hard to come by during Covid& as such we cannot guarantee its use during your stay.

*We cannot refund or credit guests due to the above.

Hi Christa, Thanks very much for taking the time to provide some first-hand insight on your recent stay at Beach House. Both Maya Luxe and the owners of the house are extremely sorry for what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation in Mexico, then turned out to be a robbing negative experience. Once again, we are very sorry to hear about the loss of your valuables. Our concierge always highly recommends placing all valuables in the provided safes at all times. And while we are not legally responsible for the loss, we did feel morally responsible, and we hope the cash refund the owner provided was more than enough to cover your lost items. In addition to the cash refund that we provided instantly, the owner also offered a 1 night credit for your future stay at the villa as an additional way to let you know that we will be addressing all the maintenance & Security issues. We hope that you will return with the 1 night credit to experience the villa once again. With regards to the villa updates we are pleased to let you know the following items have already been addressed: 1. Access to beach was built with a stone passage way leading from the house to the sand. 2. Air conditioner was replaced in the living room 3. Handles and doors were replaced in the kitchen 4. New linens and towels 5. Patio Shade was addressed with an updated canopy, in addition to all of our efforts to provide extra shade during your stay. Since your visit, the maid we believed to be responsible, was dismissed from her position, and additional security measures have been implemented with installing security cameras. Even with these security updates, we still highly recommend to NOT leave your valuables laying around. Please use the provided safes. Since your stay in October, we’ve had many satisfied guests’ come and go from the villa with no issues and they have provided positive feedback. Christa, on behalf of Maya Luxe & the owners of the house, we still hope that you will take us up on our offer and experience the property one more time with the one night credit. How do damage deposits work?
