“Amazing Cabin” We had such a great time staying at the log cabin in Plain, Wa. Snow was on the ground and the temps hovered around 10 degrees for the weekend. The gas woodstove kept us warm and the views were amazing. The cabin has everything you need and was decorated for Christmas. We have already talked about coming back this winter and will recommend to friends and family.

“Amazing!!” We originally chose this destination for it's convenient location and great value during our visit to Seattle. The house worked very well for our family of four. You cannot appreciate the location until you arrive. The view of Puget sound is wonderful and the property is beautifully maintained. Ron was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. We could have used this visit as a destination in itself. We would love to return again. Thank you for your hospitality!

“Wonderful” We rented HH for a family gathering and birthday celebration over Thanksgiving. We were throwing my dad a 60th birthday party with over 15 people (and a dog) and we filled in the place but had room to spare. Everyone was very comfortable, there were tons of bathrooms. The view: as soon as everyone walked in they were blown away. The pictures do not do it justice. It is spectacular. The grounds: we had so much fun just taking walks and taking in the beauty, seeing deer, and looking at the sunsets and sunrises. Everything was accessible. The kitchen had everything we needed, it was so well stocked. Clean and convenient and well thought of. Our dog was so comfy too! Everything she could need was there too. We used one of the two awesome firepits and made smores and food, we used the hot tub, we hung out at the balcony. Just didn't use the grill! I am so glad John and Sheila helped us create this amazing experience for my dad and my family :)

“Lovely Retreat Space” Whether you want to organize a personal or group retreat, gather the family for a vacation, or spend a romantic wknd with your partner- this vacation home accommodates all. Living and dining spaces have gigantic picture windows with expansive views of Holmes Harbor and the mountains behind them. You can spend hours on the desk watching the tides coming and going, eagles being chased by ravens, or bask in the sun. It only takes a few steps to cross the lawn and you are on the beach, from which you can launch your boat, or collect sand dollars and shells. Oh, and before I forget: the house also comes with an extensive CD collection with selections from all genres-- and you can turn up the music and dance and sing to your heart's content. We had a soulful retreat at "Baby Beach" and left tons of good energy behind !

“Pebble Beach Place is awesome!” My husband and I were looking for a getaway where we could just relax and hang out, and this place was perfect. It's fully functional so you don't have to worry about packing everything. I don't know why anyone would chose a small hotel when this place offers more comfort and at such a great price. We barbequed oysters, cooked salmon, watched movies, walked around, played games, drank wine, went on a hike...we definitely plan to visit again. =)

“Completely Relaxing” I stayed at the Husum house and completely recommend it! The house is very comfortable and relaxing. Sitting on the deck , in the sun, watching the river flow by, is my idea of a perfect day! It is also close to Portland, making it very convenient and quick to get to. I also like that it is so close to White Salmon and Hood River. I also have to say the beds are the most comfortable beds I have slept in. I have to find out where they got them. If you're looking for a great vacation rental, Husum House should be on your list.

“Family Memories Made Here” Ken and his wife have a wonderful cabin in a beautiful alpine setting that accommodated our multi-generational family of grandparents, parents, and teenagers along with three dogs very nicely. The big back yard allowed our two larger dogs a nice area to run and work off energy. The kitchen was very nicely equipped. Plenty of linens for our crew. Our granddaughters enjoyed their first visit to Seattle and this cabin gave us a comfortable place to unwind after busy days in Seattle.

“Wonderfulness” Welcoming generous hosts of an idyllic retreat. Cozy stylish appointments. Our dogs roamed freely and slept well, so did we. Cooked and ate fresh baked veggies. There was food enough to have our friends over for breakfast. We loved the Madrona Bed&Barn on Vashon

“Magical getaway just a short walk from downtown” The Pilots Cottage has become my families favorite destination location. Each summer for the past few years we rent out the cabin for a few days. This year we rented it out for Christmas and it was simply perfect. Jana has always gone above and beyond in making us feel at home and welcome. Waking up in the morning to a small harbor of sailboats and falling asleep to the crackling fireplace its no wonder our family comes back to the Pilots Cottage year after year.
