“Excellent lodging option in Luray” Perfect cottage for two couples or a family visiting the Luray area. Both bedrooms have plenty of room and are very comfortable (bed + wing chairs), ensuite baths are also both very nice. Kitchen is well stocked and has most everything you would need for preparing meals. Living room is set up as a media room with inexpensive recliners, we opted for the more comfortable chairs in the bedrooms for seating. Outside space (covered and open decks, chairs, table, grill, hot tub) is well done and is an added plus to the house when the weather is nice. Having your morning coffee on the front deck as the sun glitters on the river is a great way to start the day. Our stay at Rock Tavern was on weekdays in April and it was very peaceful, road traffic was minimal. Keep in mind that there is no Wi-Fi in the house, and cellular reception can be spotty at times. The one negative is that the heating / A/C unit is right outside the master bedroom's window and can disrupt your sleep as it kicks on and off throughout the night.

“Absolutely perfect!” This is our first time in Virginia Beach and we love it a lot. The location is amazing, a few minutes from the beach. The house is very clean, spacious and cozy. Much better in life than on the pictures. The kitchen is fully stocked. Flay screen TVs in the living room and in the master bedroom. Everything you need in the house is provided even the bath towels. The owners are very friendly and helpfull. We love absolutely everything. We highly recommend this location to anyone looking to stay in Virginia Beach!

“Perfect for our family of 14 - ages 1 through 65.” This was our first experience renting a house during a family vacation. It was absolutly wonderful. Patricia was so helpful and patient with all of my question which were often and many. The house was big enough to hold us all and give us places to share together playing cards and talking and places to retreat as needed. We were close to things we needed like the grocery store. There was a bus stop in front of the house and many others within walking distance. We had three cars and a small U-Haul and all could be parked at the house free. The drive to the metro was a pleasant one. I would recommend this house to anyone taking their family to the Washington DC area. Thanks Patricia for everything!

“Peaceful” This Condo,Is great for family with young children. We made great use of the whole Cond, Great open kitchen, spacious living room. The beach is walking distant, Pool right in your back yard, the big bonus washer and dryer, drove home with clean clothes. Very Happy can wait for next year..

“Beautiful beach house made for an unforgettable beach vacation!!” We had the most wonderful vacation at Sea La Vie. Elena was amazing to work with right from the start, very responsive and made sure that no detail was overlooked. The house itself is gorgeous - so beautifully decorated, had everything we needed for a perfect stay, and really felt like home. Even when it rained one day, we didn't mind because the house was so cozy and we had a great time, even inside! We really enjoyed our time on the beach and couldn't have asked for a better location. Just a few steps and we were on the gorgeous beach! It is towards the quieter side of the beach, yet less than a mile from the boardwalk. We frequently walked to the boardwalk right along the beach, it was wonderful! There is also an awesome state park within a 5 minute walk that we visited. All in all, we couldn't have asked for a better vacation and can't wait to return!

“Peaceful retreat.” My friends and I booked this rental for a girls get away. The house was extremely clean and well maintained. The outside was welcoming and tranquil. The two full bathrooms were useful when dealing with 5 ladies ;). All of the beds were comfortable and everyone slept well. We were close enough to town that it was an easy drive yet far away enough to take in the quietness of the country side. I would highly recommend this vacation home and will be booking it again the next time I plan a few nights around Lexington.
