“This was a very relaxing and enjoyable getaway.” This was a wonderful getaway for me and my fiancé. The cabin was very clean and the staff was great. I really love the honor system for purchases. You just don't find that anymore. Everything you need was in the cabin. If you would like to just getaway, relax, unwind and enjoy nature this is definitely the spot. I also like the fact that we were minutes from Starved Rock State Park. We were able to go and enjoy a boat ride and hiking. We plan to revisit in august or September.

“New annual Fall Pilgrimage!” My Family and I have been going to the Starved Rock State Park area for many years every October. It is a time for us to reconnect as a family. This year(2013), is the first year we stayed at Kishauwau. We stayed in the Trading Post Cabin. It was very clean,spacious, and well stocked with all the supplies I needed. The owners who checked us in, were wonderful,and truly cared for our comfort. My children are getting older, and we are looking forward to continuing this family pilgrimage for many more years to come. We are anxious to return to the peace and tranquility of Kishauwau.
