“Great value, very comfortable!” We stayed here for our son's Air Force Basic graduation and found the home to be very centrally located for easy access to both Lackland AFB and Downtown River Walk. The house is well apportioned, two nice bedrooms with comfortable beds and 2 bathrooms upstairs, and a nice living room, bathroom, and smaller kitchen dining room downstairs. There is a small fenced back yard with a patio, table and 4 chairs. Close by to this home is all kinds of restaurants and stores including an HEB for groceries. All in all, I highly recommend the this home and homeowner, Mayela, because she delivered everything she promised, the house was clean, the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare and cook meals, and we felt safe in a gated community. One item to note, the driveway is steep and the garage is smaller, so parking on the street is a small concession if you can't fit in the garage. We rented a mini van and it fit in the garage, it just takes a careful approach. I would rent here again.

“Great Views - Comfy Place!” We enjoyed our week+ stay! We traveled with both granddaughters. They really enjoyed watching the barges and noting the differences in the variety. Having the intracoastal canal off the front porch and the canal at the back was nice. Kiddos fished and crabbed in the evenings and went to the beach during the day. Nearby Lake Jackson has any store you need! Don't pass up going to Sea Center of Texas in Lake Jackson. It is an amazing project by Texas Parks and Wildlife and is FREE. Be sure to do the hatchery tour while there. Nearby Buc-ee's provided inexpensive ice and daily ICEEs for the kids. We will definitely stay here again!

“All the comforts of home with the vacation feel!” This secluded home provided the much needed get away our family was looking for. It is so hard to find a place that will accommodate our golden retriever, as well as provide outdoor fun for the kids who enjoyed getting up early and heading to the creek to fish. The location was close enough to explore the town as well as places for a good hike. At dusk, we were able to sit on the porch, grill our steaks and watch the deer as they grazed the pecan orchard. It was a great relief to find a place that provides this relaxing atmosphere. We have been repeat guests the last few years and find it as pleasant, clean and comfortable as the first time we visited.

“The Watermelon House” My family and I feel in love with the watermelon house! The house was in a great location! The house was clean, will -kept, and the AC system worked well! The house provided everything we needed and more which I was impressed with! The owner was always available and the check-in and out instructions were easy! Beautiful house! My family and I will definitely be back to the watermelon house in the future!

“Beach house perfection!” We had such an amazing stay at pelican perch in June! The house was beautiful, the pictures were completely accurate, the beach was just up the road, we could not have asked for more. Our group of 6 stayed quite comfortably and the kitchen made it so much easier to save money on this trip and have the ability to make meals there, which we did quite frequently. If you get the chance you have to stay at this adorable beach house! We will never stay at a hotel when we are visiting the ocean again.

“First Trip to Galveston” My two granddaughters and I were delighted with our two night stay at this very comfortable, well-stocked beach home. The elevator was so convenient for getting all of our baggage/supplies to the main floor. The girls loved counting all of the pelicans and lighthouses in the décor. We spent peaceful time on the large deck watching and listening to the Gulf surf. Then we took the quick walk to the beach and enjoyed jumping the waves even though the water was a bit chilly. We will return to stay in the house again, and this time we will stay longer!
