“Beautiful Villa” My husband and I booked the villa for one week and loved it so much we stayed for the remainder of our vacation. The owners Nadine & Ian were excellent as were the property mangers anita & Dave. The villa and the gardens were in perfect condition. The villa is an end unit with extra windows and doors to let in the beautiful sunshine. The pool was right outside our door, which was lovely for those evening dips. Location to the beach, Speightstown and Holetown was great, a ten minute walk to the beach, then along the beach into Speightstown for a morning latte at Casareep. What a way to start the morning, it doesn't get any better than that! And... the bed in the villa is top quality and very comfortable.

“Good size apartment on beachfront” The apartment was exactly as described & was large, bright & well equipped making it ideal for a self catering holiday, especially if you want a fairly quiet & relaxing holiday experience. Speightstown is a small, friendly town with only a few restaurants although there are a couple of supermarkets, but is also convenient for bus services around the island, as the bus station is a 5 min walk. The beach opposite the apartment, which was so quiet it was almost private, made for some lovely views & you could relax on the balcony watching the world go by or take a dip any time without having to plan ahead. We did not use the 2nd bedroom, which was downstairs, as it felt too far away for our young son to be sleeping away from us but it was easy enough to use the sofa bed in the lounge for him. It was very handy to have a good washing machine & tumble dryer, as it meant we did not have to pack loads of clothes, & although we did not use all the facilities, everything you needed was there to make self catering easy. It was unfortunate that we did not find out about the mosquito nets until late into our holiday but this did not spoil our otherwise fabulous family holiday. Sonja, who was the local caretaker, was very friendly & we could take advantage of her local knowledge for various things. Overall, well recommended.

“Just as good as last year!!” We stayed here last year and went against our normal rule not to revisit the following year. We are really glad that we did as the property was just as good and the hospitality of the agent on the Island equally welcoming. We are now going to break our Golden Rule once more and return next year.

“Truly wonderful, relaxing, blissful holiday!” We have visited Barbados several times over the last few years and staying at Baliceau in Port St Charles is just the best!! The apartment is stunning with beautiful furniture and is perfectly equipped and it is so relaxing, with simply incredible views! There are a couple of pools to choose from and the beach is within reaching distance with gorgeous blue warm water...the Yacht Club which is a few minutes walk away has a great bar and food too, with the best views! Speightstown is about a 15 minute walk away which is a lovely traditional Bajan town, with some sweet shops, cafes and restaurants, we love The Orange Street Grocer for a coffee or lunch. I would highly recommend this property, it is simply paradise!
