“The most peaceful romantic place in Texas” First off the pictures don't do this place any justice! My Husband and I decided to visit for our 10 year anniversary. We pampered ourself with the romantic package! The breakfast was hot, fresh, and delicious! We then did our couples yoga, this was or first time and Bethany was patient and super sweet. Not only was the yoga fun and something new it was so relaxing and peaceful. This place had a beautiful scenery and showed us a whole new side of nature coming from the busy city life in Houston. I also indulged in an amazing Thai massage with Travis! Whoa talk about relaxation!!! The bath tub fits two and is very romantic, you can't tell by pictures but in top of restroom there is a beautiful table/sitting area where you can use to sit, talk, and view the surroundings! All in all this place was simply beautiful and was exactly what we were looking for. We look forward to visiting again!

“Very Peaceful” We enjoyed our stay at Living Waters on Lake Travis (The Blue Loft). The atmosphere and views of this place are amazing and so funky. It was clean and very comfortable for two people. My boyfriend and I watched deer drink from the river, as the sun was setting, very peaceful. Only complaint was that the river was low, it was a bit sad. While we were in Spicewood we visited Krause Springs very disappointing. The water was low and there were over 50 people in a little murky watering hole, which I understand is due to the drought. Now Hamilton Pool was worth the two-hour wait (get there before 9am to avoid a wait) to enter the park. It was breathtaking and the water is nice and cold. Buy groceries before you arrive, as there is nothing nearby, except convenience stores. If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful spot to recharge this place will work for you. If you want something more lively, I would not recommend staying here. I will definitely come back to this place. Photos were spot on. Also Bethany was very helpful with our reservations and questions.

“Paradise found at The Cozy Cottage on Lake Travis!!!” Speaking for our entire family, I want to thank you for an amazing four day vacation/experience. Upon arriving at Living Waters, we were immediately drawn into the peaceful, inspirational environment that encompasses the "compound". "The Cottage" was perfect for the seven of us. After we arrived, we sat out on the back porch to admire our surroundings. Bethany arrived to give us some wonderful advice as to what to see and do in and around Spicewood. Her charm and enthusiasm immediately got us all excited about our next few days of activities. Our next activities were from Bethany and Travis's recommendations: visits to the Stone House and Spicewood Wineries and swimming at Krause Springs. I saved the best recommendation for last: The Friday night Tomato Happy Hour with Kathleen. We met so many wonderful "regulars" as well as the other two couples who were staying at Living Waters. It was a memorable experience. Kathleen is an amazing person. After I read her little book that was upstairs in the cottage, I couldn't wait to talk with her. She bonded instantly with our family and the children were taken in by her warmth and friendliness. Little Haynie hadn't come home by the time we left so Kathleen invited us to come back the next morning, bright and early, so that we could meet him. We set our alarms for 6:30 am and we were not disappointed. My grandson Evan (age 10) said that petting a deer was one of the most wonderful experiences he's ever had. We all decided that we wanted to have a pet deer of our own!!! Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to experience life in that little corner of heaven called Living Waters. “Great Weekend Retreat” Beautiful property. Interesting architecture and relaxing hill country / lake environment perfect for hosting a weekend retreat. Bethany and Travis were extremely helpful. We'll be back! Highly recommended.
