“Peace & quiet” We really enjoyed our 4 night stay at the Captain's Cottage. The peace and quiet was perfect and a big change from our everyday lives. This gave us some well needed time with our kids too. Everything we needed in the kitchen was provided so we could cook at the cottage. Out side by the dock was a paddle boat, row boat and canoe. We really enjoyed paddling & rowing around the lake & although small it was great & quiet. Our kids (17 & 13) really enjoyed the time on the lake. Although we were a little further from Traverse City then we initially thought the peacefulness won over distance. I think it would if really been nice to have a table on the deck to eat & enjoy the scenery but the chairs were ok. Thanks for the opportunity & memories.
