Myself and my wife stayed here 18th April - 22nd April. We are from England.
We chose this apartment because it was a bit cheaper than the hotels, and allowed us more freedom.
The entrance to the apartment block, and the building itself is very run down and desperately needs maintenance and cleaning (as does the whole area). Graffiti and feral cats are everywhere.
The actual room is quite clean, and larger than it appears in the photos.
The location is excellent. Plenty of Shops. The local market is huge, but sells mainly fresh fruit and veg.
Buses, taxi's, mini buses are all nearby, which will take you to the rail station.
Old Jaffa is about 45 minutes walk, it's a nice old world place. There's a restaurant there called "The old man and the sea" well worth having a meal there, be careful when you sit down, as they pile plates of food onto your table "before" you've even asked, and they call this a starter..it's a huge amount, you won't be able to eat a main meal, so it's wise not to order one!
Jerusalem and Haifa are easy to get to by train.
We didn't experience any problem's anywhere. …
