“Wonderful Vacation Home” We had a great week at this terrific house. There's so much to do in the area (hiking in Montana de Oro, kayaking & stand up paddle boarding in Morro Bay, wine tasting in SLO and Paso), but it was always nice to come back to this home to relax for a while. The house has plenty of room for a large group or just a family to spread out and enjoy the surroundings. Denise wasn't kidding about the deer, they were in the front yard when we arrived and made appearances almost every day of our stay. The home was very clean, well-stocked and everything was in excellent working order. The views of the ocean, bay and "rock" were spectacular, and the neighborhood was very peaceful and quiet. “A Lovely Getaway for a Group of Ladies” What a beautiful property! Our group consisted of 10 women, looking to get away for a few days. The ranch is a few miles off of Old Creek Road, and so quiet you feel like you're the only people around. When we arrived we were met with warm fresh baked cookies. The bedrooms are very quaint and although we didn't need them, they struck me as being something kids would really love (2 of the ladies in our group are planning to bring back their families). The kitchen was great for group cooking, we cooked there both nights and had all we needed, including a lovely pre-set dining table. We are active women, so we hiked each day around the property. A hike up the hill was not easy but at the top you can see the coast. If it's wine you are looking for, Old Creek Road takes you up to some really great wineries. It was a hot day, so after winetasting a dip in the lap pool was a must. I would recommend this property for family reunions or large group trips.
