“Wonderful Retreat” Wonderful house, wonderful surroundings. Note, though, the house is a solid 30 min ride from town via tough dirt roads. Would certainly recommend this house. It was a wonderful retreat. And, the trip to town isn't a big deal if you're planning to spend alot of time at the house and/or at Playa Maderas.

“What a chill place” Our family stayed at Playa El Coco at these condos and had a great time. The people were wonderful and helpful, the beach awesome and close enough to town to get our needs met. We would love to return. Jersey Jim was a great host taking us out at night to view to turtles and having local connections to make us feel welcome in the small community. Playa El coco was the highlight of the trip for our children and us.

“great place to stay” We enjoyed our stay of three days at this place very much. It has easy 5 minute access to the quiet northern part of the Sjds town beach (the portion extending to the cliffs under the Christo statue). The apartment is modern, clean and well equipped. Plenty of hot water, good kitchen, free wifi (when it works) and marvellous views. The manager Jason is very helpful. The town center is a 15-20 minute walk which is gorgeous in the morning and evening, but becomes too hot near midday. So the only disadvantage is that if you need to go shopping for food and you do not have a car you might need to order a taxi, which entails a wait. Better strategy is to walk into the center for whatever you want to do there, finish with grocery shopping at the central market and then grab a taxi home. Dont miss walking up to the statue, steep but straightforward , less than 30 min. The absolute best views! We will be back next year for a longer stay

“Great location, lovely views, friendly service” We stayed for longer than the usual holiday so we very much appreciated the space in the villas (2 bedroom with a full kitchen and very airy living room) and the friendly but low key service. Service was fast and attentive when needed but the villa always felt private and 'our own' for the time that we were there. The facilities in the resort are very good - the restaurant and pool area is very pretty and relaxed. Food and drinks were good and reasonably priced. Also the ocean views from the upper bedroom and balcony and the terrace are very pretty with spectacular sunsets.

“Great spot on amazing private beach!” My girlfriend and I were about to book a place right in San Juan, but last minute opted to check out this unit on Playa Coco. VERY happy we changed our minds last minute because it was just what we were looking for. Not as loud as San Juan and more private. Definitely felt more exclusive and the beach is directly in front of you. We stayed a week and im happy we did that. We are able to detach and really enjoy our time there. We had a full kitchen and cooked but loved eating at the restaurant right there too. There's also a market right next door for anything else we wanted. San Juan is great to check out too, but to have your own private beach (the best in the area i think!) this is hands down a better option. Also easy to explore other beaches nearby. Definitely returning soon!
