“Excellent Couples Retreat Valentine's Weekend 2014” It was four couples that enjoyed this cozy private home. Upon arriving to the house we did not know what to expect, especially because it was in the middle of winter. However, when we entered the home we were amazed because the pictures posted did not do the house any justice it is amazing. The kitchen and dinning room are open and roomy. The dinning room table was large enough that it allowed for nice family style dinning for all meals. The bedrooms are nice size, because we were coupled off we did not need a lot of bedroom space. The bathrooms are also nice a full one with a bathtub/shower upstairs, and only a standing shower downstairs. Which we did not mind at all. The only downfall was the water for the showers is luke warm, so we had to take quick showers, and there was a bit of a dog smell when we arrived. if you email me I will send pictures through email.

“Beautiful Gettysburg Home” My family and I stayed at this beautiful home for Gettysburg 150th. What a great find. Very close to everything Gettysburg has to offer. Grocery store right across the street. Sandee the owner was wonderful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a very clean comfortable and cozy home. I know where I will be staying on my next visit to Gettysburg.

“simply wonderful” It was just a weekend getaway for the two of us in this beautiful cottage. We picked it based on what we saw on internet, and have to admit, did not regret at all. The cottage is very warm and cozy. There was absolutely everything anyone would require: pots and pans, utencils, dishes, etc., and everything in a mint condition. Bedrooms are big and comfortable. During the day we were enjoying the lake, and we spent our evenings sitting outside in front of a firepit, enjoying ourselves. Now we are looking forward coming back and bringing our entire family. Thanks again for letting us use your wonderful cottage.

“A gem in the woods” Thank you ...we really enjoyed the weekend!. Just enough snow on the ground, cold in the air...and a nice warm fireplace waiting inside. Great kitchen, all the things we needed to do some couples cooking. Clean, well kept house and property. the full size washer/dryer was nice to have. Comfy beds, great deck, grill, fire pit outside. Overall it was a wonderful time, relaxing, and spirit lifting. Looking forward to a summer mountains adventure there as well... Thank You !!!

“The best trip ever!” I came with my three friends and my 9yrs old son. “Wonderful Winter Retreat” I had a winter retreat with my church people there. The owner was very nice to accommodate our situations. The house was beautiful, warm and cozy. There were plenty of blankets, and the kitchen was well equipped to cook for 12 people. My young church members liked playing at the pool-table too. The location was convenient... little more than 2 hours from New York , and 20 min. from the ski mountain. My church people and I had great time to bond together. “Everything You Need!” This fabulous vacation property is everything you need for a lovely getaway! The unit is clean, well equipped, roomy beyond belief, and in a fabulous location. We were 2 families of 4 and enjoyed everything the property had to offer. The patio was a great place to enjoy your meals and Keurig coffees.The family room was large enough for everyone to enjoy a movie on the large screen TV. Our children loved the pool and the Lake Club beach. We even rented Paddleboards at the Lake Club and enjoyed a few games of ping pong lakeside! The Boulder View Tavern was within easy walking distance for fabulous meals out. The property is a quick drive to shopping centers in Wilkes Barre and Mount Pocono as well. “A Wonderful Family Week!” We just wanted to send a quick note to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay week before last. It was a wonderful opportunity for our family to gather and relax. We appreciated the ability to put the one year old baby to bed and be able to socialize in another area of the house without waking him. He loved looking at the horses and walking in the grass (simple pleasures!). This is the first time we have tried the weekly house rental idea and it was perfect for us. “Amazing adventure” The Challet was incredible! I celebrated my 21st birthday here and Maggie made sure everything turned out great. She helped me out a lot since I've never rented a place before this was a perfect place. Very cozy, so spacious and I can never forget the deers and turkeys I encountered. It was an adventure. Everything was close by we had camel back 30 mins away. Wallmart was close by to go food shopping. I stayed in every night to enjoy the house. The house was great and the Maggie was great also. I'm thinking about renting again for the summer. I hope to go back soon. I recommend this house to everyone. It gets 100%. thank you for everything Maggie.
