“Amazing adventure” The Challet was incredible! I celebrated my 21st birthday here and Maggie made sure everything turned out great. She helped me out a lot since I've never rented a place before this was a perfect place. Very cozy, so spacious and I can never forget the deers and turkeys I encountered. It was an adventure. Everything was close by we had camel back 30 mins away. Wallmart was close by to go food shopping. I stayed in every night to enjoy the house. The house was great and the Maggie was great also. I'm thinking about renting again for the summer. I hope to go back soon. I recommend this house to everyone. It gets 100%. thank you for everything Maggie.

“The Keystone Camp is an excellent place to get away.” The service was excellent from the Landlord. My wife and I really like the Keystone Camp and plan to rent this property again. The location of the Keystone Camp was in close proximity (1 mile ~ 20 miles) from many attractions including: lake, hiking, pubs, Penn State University and shopping. The camp had all the amenities we required including a nice bathroom with an adequate supply of hot water for taking a shower, well equipped kitchen, electric heat, wood burner, comfortable front porch, creek in the back yard, easy access, and adequate parking. What we like best about the Keystone Camp is that it is a remote location but close enough to many attractions.

“Relaxing getaway” This was the perfect getaway for my family. The owners were very helpful and made our stay so comfortable. They even arranged an adjoining room with a crib for our two year old son. The home was a gorgeous Federal Colonial with modern amenities - jacuzzi tub in the upstairs bathroom, large flat screen TV in the family room and commercial coffee maker in the dining room. This house was even more beautiful than the pictures and the rooms were large which gave us plenty of space to spread out and "live" in the house. The family room was a great place to relax and unwind. The location was perfect for us just outside Gettysburg in the quiet little town of Fairfield. The view of the mountains was gorgeous and we enjoyed walking through the town. The market across the road was great for picking up groceries and snacks for quick meals back at the house. We can't wait to go back and explore some more-especially the apple orchards nearby. Could not have a had a better experience all around!

“Down Home Country Livin'” I scored big time on this vacation getaway for my wife ( 10th anniversary ). This place was the "Perfect 10". Guys, do yourself a big favor & take the chance on this trip site. The rolling hills, horses, donkeys, & yes jus chillin' on the porch rocking in those chairs. Russell & Mary have a "diamond in the rough" location just waiting for you...perfect hosts they are indeed. Local wineries, covered bridges, & the town of Robesonia, just minutes away as well.

Pennsylvania holidays

Pennsylvania is the perfect place to get a feel for what America is all about. There is a palpable sense of patriotism in the nation's original capital city, Philadelphia, and in the tight-knit community of Pittsburgh.

Pennsylvania's vibrant cities are colourful towns that hold architectural gems such as Frank Lloyd Wright's Falling Water and regal natural splendours such as Lake Erie and the Poconos Mountains.

The cuisine of Pennsylvania is quirky to say the least. Home to the delectable cheesesteak sub (made with Cheese Whizz!), Tastykake, Heinz, Hershey's and the much-celebrated Wawa convenience store, it is no wonder this state is called the snack food capital of the world. There are also numerous places and activities for visitors to see and enjoy.

Here is a sampling of some of the destinations you will want to check out:

  • Philadelphia (Philly): Not only is it home to a plethora of historic treasures such as the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, but Philly also has world-class museums and restaurants to fulfil every appetite for culture and cuisine.
  • Dutch Country: Home to the Amish, Brethren and Mennonight people, this area is a short drive away from Philly and a rare preservation of a world past. Modern amenities such as electricity are not often found here, and residents opt to use horse 'n' buggy rather than the automobile.
  • Pittsburgh: Breaking free from its identity as a blue-collar city, Pittsburgh is worth a trip to visit the only Andy Warhol museum in the states and catch the Steelers play a game at Heinz Field.
  • Gettysburg: For anyone who wants to learn about American history and the U.S. Civil War, this is an ideal place to go. Visitors can tour battlefields and check out several museums. For those interested in the supernatural element, the area is also rumoured to be haunted with plenty of ghosts.
  • Hershey: If you are a traveller looking for something sweet, this is where your cravings will be satisfied. The heart of this town is of course the famous chocolate factory, but it has also become an excellent family resort destination offering plenty of activities for every age group.
  • Conneaut Lake: Situated between Pittsburgh and Erie, this natural water wonder is a great place for travellers to enjoy a variety of outdoor activities. There is also an amusement park on hand to keep adrenaline lovers entertained.

In the Keystone State there is something to do in every season, so visitors will always have exciting things to experience. For example, during the winters to ski Pennsylvania's slopes is a popular activity. Throughout the year, no matter what the weather, visitors can also make a splash in Pennsylvania indoor water parks. Take a loved one on a romantic getaway in Pennsylvania and check out the landscape of this beautiful state while exploring Pennsylvania campgrounds.

After a long day of seeing the sights, there are plenty of options for where to stay. A holiday rental is a great way to make oneself at home, whether it is within a wood-side cabin in the country or a condo in downtown Philly.

No matter where you rest your head in Pennsylvania, beyond the peculiar towns and flourishing Cultural Centers reside a people that welcome visitors with open arms and embody the spirit of America.

Abode | The Pennsylvanian | Studio Suite
Nice Abode, exceeded my expectations.

The downtown location is great. Starbucks is right across the street. Metered on site parking is easy in easy out. I prepaid for my 4 days using the parking app. Check-in was smooth, even after hours. I checked in at about 1 AM. The building is also nice and quiet, so I slept very well. The Wifi is great, super fast and without interruption. This fully functionally studio apartment also comes with walk-in closet (I used as my dressing room) and in-unit washer-dryer which let me pack less and travel easy. Finally, this was also easy for Doordash to find, which is a great perk.see more

The Big House Apple Blossom Farm Heated In. Pool! Hot Tub add on!
Great stay

We had 4 couples and a baby stay for 5 nights. The rooms were very comfortable and we had plenty of room for everyone. The indoor pool and hot tub were the highlight features of our visit. It was fun to see all the animals and take some family pictures on the farm. We fed all the chickens, goats and horses and bought a few dozen colorful eggs the chickens had laid. Great stay and we look forward to coming back.see more

Cozy Lake Erie Private Basement Apartment
Wonderful stay

I booked Memorial Day weekend with Jess in her basement studio. Very spacious unit 4 one person. Big plus was the deep jetted tub - basically a small hot tub, it was great to soak at end of day. The house sits on a 2x lot, so guests have their own private area in back 4 morning coffee, etc. The unit was immaculate. Much better alternative than your typical hotel room. I will be back. Highly recommended! Also, the location - just down the road from Presque Island State Park was unbeatable. Overall, just a great stay..see more
