“Excellent Couples Retreat Valentine's Weekend 2014” It was four couples that enjoyed this cozy private home. Upon arriving to the house we did not know what to expect, especially because it was in the middle of winter. However, when we entered the home we were amazed because the pictures posted did not do the house any justice it is amazing. The kitchen and dinning room are open and roomy. The dinning room table was large enough that it allowed for nice family style dinning for all meals. The bedrooms are nice size, because we were coupled off we did not need a lot of bedroom space. The bathrooms are also nice a full one with a bathtub/shower upstairs, and only a standing shower downstairs. Which we did not mind at all. The only downfall was the water for the showers is luke warm, so we had to take quick showers, and there was a bit of a dog smell when we arrived. if you email me I will send pictures through email.

“simply wonderful” It was just a weekend getaway for the two of us in this beautiful cottage. We picked it based on what we saw on internet, and have to admit, did not regret at all. The cottage is very warm and cozy. There was absolutely everything anyone would require: pots and pans, utencils, dishes, etc., and everything in a mint condition. Bedrooms are big and comfortable. During the day we were enjoying the lake, and we spent our evenings sitting outside in front of a firepit, enjoying ourselves. Now we are looking forward coming back and bringing our entire family. Thanks again for letting us use your wonderful cottage.

“Great Getaway and Ice Festival” We had a great time celebrating my wife's birthday and the Ice festival was in town. It was a nice getaway to a warm cabin in the middle of the woods in the middle of winter. Definitely recommend.

“Relaxing getaway” This was the perfect getaway for my family. The owners were very helpful and made our stay so comfortable. They even arranged an adjoining room with a crib for our two year old son. The home was a gorgeous Federal Colonial with modern amenities - jacuzzi tub in the upstairs bathroom, large flat screen TV in the family room and commercial coffee maker in the dining room. This house was even more beautiful than the pictures and the rooms were large which gave us plenty of space to spread out and "live" in the house. The family room was a great place to relax and unwind. The location was perfect for us just outside Gettysburg in the quiet little town of Fairfield. The view of the mountains was gorgeous and we enjoyed walking through the town. The market across the road was great for picking up groceries and snacks for quick meals back at the house. We can't wait to go back and explore some more-especially the apple orchards nearby. Could not have a had a better experience all around!

“Wonderful Winter Retreat” I had a winter retreat with my church people there. The owner was very nice to accommodate our situations. The house was beautiful, warm and cozy. There were plenty of blankets, and the kitchen was well equipped to cook for 12 people. My young church members liked playing at the pool-table too. The location was convenient... little more than 2 hours from New York , and 20 min. from the ski mountain. My church people and I had great time to bond together. “A Wonderful Family Week!” We just wanted to send a quick note to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay week before last. It was a wonderful opportunity for our family to gather and relax. We appreciated the ability to put the one year old baby to bed and be able to socialize in another area of the house without waking him. He loved looking at the horses and walking in the grass (simple pleasures!). This is the first time we have tried the weekly house rental idea and it was perfect for us. “Amazing adventure” The Challet was incredible! I celebrated my 21st birthday here and Maggie made sure everything turned out great. She helped me out a lot since I've never rented a place before this was a perfect place. Very cozy, so spacious and I can never forget the deers and turkeys I encountered. It was an adventure. Everything was close by we had camel back 30 mins away. Wallmart was close by to go food shopping. I stayed in every night to enjoy the house. The house was great and the Maggie was great also. I'm thinking about renting again for the summer. I hope to go back soon. I recommend this house to everyone. It gets 100%. thank you for everything Maggie.
