“Beautiful home away from home” Erica and Liz have such a beautiful home. Country in the city is the perfect place for some quiet and literally only 10 minutes to the falls. Erica and Liz were so friendly and helpful with giving us advice before our trip and also when we arrived. The house is comfortable, clean, with a fully equipped kitchen, simply just another home away from home. We only wished our trip lasted longer there!

“Great Little Place to Get Away” This is a nice little place to get away from everything. With a National Park, small towns and beaches nearby, it has everything you need. Cozy little place to just relax and have fun! The lake view is great, but don't expect to use its beach. 4/5 due to the power going out the entire day for one of the 3 days we were there, but was due to high winds and not the cottage itself. Overall a great experience.

“Wreck Island and the Massasauga” Great location for visiting Wreck Island, the Massasauga Provincial Park, Sans Souci and for fishing! Alcatraz Island is in a sheltered part of Moon Bay and once you reach it you are central to many of the attractions in the area. The only cottage on the island sits on a gentle sloping hill with great views, privacy and great walking / exploring opportunities. The sheltered dock is suitable for small to medium size boats. Boating with a GPS or chart is recommended as there are plenty of shoals in this area of Georgian Bay, however, the easiest way to get to the cottage is to take a Water Taxi from Moon River Marina. The cottage has modern appliances is comfortable, clean, as well as spacious. It's convenient and reassuring to have telephone / electrical service; the cellular internet access is even better than in Toronto. We had our own boat and had engine trouble one evening, several of the local cottagers came out in their boats to assist (very neighbourly). We have rented alcatraz twice over the last three years and have never been disappointed.

“Beautiful place to stay with friends” Regent House is far more than meets the eye for a group of ten. It is incredibly comfortable with a very well stocked kitchen for anything that you want to cook. If you don't feel like cooking you are super close to Queen Street for the restaurants and shopping. Each bedroom has its own bathroom which allows a large group to spread out and have some privacy. Melissa and Paul leave many special little touches for their guests that make your stay very special. Thank you so much. You have a beautiful home and we all will be back.

“perfect!” My friends and I stayed here for our after prom weekend. the cottage was beautiful inside and out. the pool was a perfect temperature, and the walk to the beach only took about 15 minutes! The cottage slept 16 of us very comfortably, and could defiantly fit more! the rules were very reasonable and the owners SUPER nice!! a handy restaurant right next door if we wanted food or had any problems. Overall my friends and I had a blast! We hope to come back very soon, hands down best cottage in Grand Bend.

“Relaxing, Tranquil and Luxurious Get away” We keep going back to The Dacha many times a year because it is a place to unwind, relax, be with nature yet not giving up luxury. The property is immaculately maintained and also supremely clean. The property manager is always friendly and very helpful. The claw foot tub and steam are luxuries when on a "cottage" vacation. Having comfy beds with high end linen is another bonus! Being able to sit and watch the bay from either the sun deck or from inside the gorgeous grand room is peaceful and recharging for the soul! It is rare to see anyone else in the area. There are great walking trails and easy access to the beach.

“A Lovely Place For a Winter or Summer Get-Away” Blue Heron is a wonderful place to stay--a beautiful setting in a wonderful location. All the amenities one could ask for and the owners were responsive and accessible in making arrangements, offering suggestions, answering questions, etc. The property itself was very well maintained, very clean, and extremely comfortable. The location is close to ski areas, Huntsville (a charming town), beautiful scenery, and a lake for swimming, etc., during the summer months. All the necessities were provided and in good working order, e.g. a fireplace, a kitchen with every appliance one could want, a TV and DVD, a large living room with comfortable seating areas, a kitchen with an island for easy food preparation, wood available for fires, etc. I would highly recommend Blue Heron as an outstanding place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Ontario. Plus, the owners have done an excellent job of making Blue Heron feel welcoming and comfortable. We hated to leave Blue Heron!
