“Shadyside Cabin at Marsh Hollow is amazing!” Beautiful cabin, excellent craftsmanship! This is an Amish built luxury cabin and it is amazing, one of our guests is an architect and he was in awe with how the cabin was built. Other than that, this cabin is a perfect example of a getaway place for relaxation, comfort, enjoyment and peace. We had an excellent time, we wished we had booked a longer stay because the time just flew by. Hot tub is huge, easily accommodating 4 people. Backyard is a huge field with a fire pit which we did not use unfortunately because of the weather (rain and very cold). There is a little bridge crossing a small stream that leads to trails in the woods, which we saw multiple people using throughout our stay. I cannot say enough about how nice this cabin is and we will definitely be looking at staying there again in the future.

“Restful weekend retreat” What a wonderful cabin in the Hocking Hills! Quiet with a beautiful setting, this one bedroom has every amenity. The deck provides a great place to have a quiet meal or sit and relax with a glass of wine. A soak in the hot tub after long hikes was a necessity. The cabin is very clean and just the right size for 2 people. We cooked salmon, potatoes, and asparagus on the Weber grill...yum! And the location was convenient for all Hocking Hills attractions. I would say the only negative was the early 10:30am checkout time. Other than that...great place! And we loved that we could bring our dog:)

“Great location, great accomodations, would definitely come again!” The cabin is in a perfect location to be able to get to any of the local attractions, while being far away enough from the "vacation cabin" areas. Nice quiet street with lots of surrounding woods. The cabin was immaculate. It had all of the accomodations you need such as towels, coffee, dinnerware, etc. It was very clean and organized. We chose this cabin based off of their pet policy which is great too! We took our 2 lab mix dogs with us and they loved going hiking on the trails. Just FYI though, dogs ARE NOT ALLOWED in any of the bodies of water in the parks. This was a little disappointing because we were looking forward to taking our dogs swimming. The only reason I gave this cabin a 4/5 is because the beds are very uncomfortable. I have a bad back and I was woken up every morning by very bad back pain. Otherwise this cabin was perfect for us and we will definitely be coming back!

“So peaceful & relaxing!” The cabin is very nicely furnished with comfortable furniture and beds. The bathroom is surprisingly large unlike a lot of cabins that have cramped bathrooms. The property has beautiful hills, woods, and a creek, which made for great hiking. Lots of honeysuckle in bloom, grazing deer, and lovely back roads...an evening drive doesn't get a lot better than that! Another highlight was the fresh-baked peach cobbler from the amish farm. We loved this place!

“Loved it!” I stayed at the Hearts Delight over the Labor Day Weekend and had a wonderful, relaxing stay. I loved the hot tub and then the quiet setting which helped me wind down and get a great night's sleep each night after fun and busy days. Mostly I enjoyed the amazing hospitality of the hosts Mac and Dar McCormick. It was a joy spending time with them and I am definitely going to return. The very comfy bed was fantastic and large screen TV was an unexpected bonus. And the music at the bonfire while sitting around the lake at night, that was epic! The Heart's Delight is truly a great find!
