“Amazing” What an amazing place for a family vacation! Rick was utterly helpful from our first email exchange. He picked us up at the airport and we followed him to the house. Turning down the bumpy private road is where our delightful adventure began. My 82 year old father and 73 year old mother burst into laughter as we bumped down the road. (Please take his advice on renting a Jeep) When we arrived at the house and opened the door, we were astonished by the view. The house was entirely open and the breeze that filled the room was heavenly. The layout of the home is centered upon the view and it is made for entertaining. If you like to cook, consider yourself home. The pictures honestly do not do this place justice and the truth is that it's easy to spend the entire week just absorbing the view from the infinity pool. When the ocean calls you, you simply take a 3 minute drive down the hill or about a 15-20 minute walk and you literally have your own private beach. A few homemade "cabanas" are down there which provide shade. We even had our own private family bonfire one evening. While there are many beautiful beaches to visit, the truth is that you have one of the best beaches right at your fingertips. The thing that truly makes this place is the owners. Rick, Stephen, and their lovely "guard" dog Rocky made us feel completely at home. What I especially like is that you greatly benefit from the fact that they live on the property, without sacrificing any of your privacy. Stephen saved pasta night with his fresh basil and even cracked open some coconuts for us. What's more is that Rick is a professionally trained chef and one evening cooked us the most delectable meal. What other rentals offer dinner? Villa amour is aptly named as its beauty stems from not only the view, but from the love that is poured into it from the owners.
