“Convenient” Great Location! Near train station! Great restaurants and lounges within walking distance! Get a real NYC feel of living! Great place for a group of friends or families. Only downside could have been a little cleaner but it was products available to tidy up ourselves. I would definitely stay again and refer people along the way.
“Wonderful family getaway” What a great vacation home, with everything you could possibly want. A beautiful waterfront view to enjoy sunrise and sunset everyday. A wonderful pool, fire pit on the river and a dock to fish. We found the location great for visiting Niagara falls and Canada, and some great sights and restaurants.Glenn is a wonderful owner and is very helpful with places to eat, see and shop. We would highly recommend this vacation home we had such a wonderful time with our family.
“Excellent apartment with great amenties and accomodations” Everytime I visit NYC, I always enjoy the accomodations at 257 Lenox. The apartment is clean, modern and spacious. The building is well lit and safe. The rooms are spacious and the kitchen is a plus. Every time I return from my outings in the city...I'm so glad I have a nice place to lay down and relax in or invite my friends over to enjoy. Nyc is an expensive place, so its a great place to stay where you feel you get great amenities for the value.
“Lovely, Clean Apartment with Gracious Host.” The apartment was nicely decorated and very clean. The master bedroom is charming and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom had been recently remodeled and was spacious and clean with a very nice shower. There were lots of extra towels and linens and everything looked brand new. The little kitchen is well appointed, and although we didn't eat there, it has everything you need. There's also free Wifi and good air conditioners. The host was wonderful, very helpful and friendly and he runs a little shop downstairs and lives in the building, so he is close if you need anything. He even left fresh fruit for our arrival, which was very nice. The subway stop is a very close two block walk, and the neighborhood, well, it's Brooklyn/Stuyvesant Heights. We felt safe walking to the shops and subways, and there were police around if you needed one. The apartment is on the second floor, so there are two large metal doors on the ground floor, which makes it very secure. Overall, a great place, very reasonably priced in a real Brooklyn neighborhood. If you're from out of town, remember, NO right on red:) And there is another street with the same name in harlem, so be careful what you put in the GPS.
