“Funky Peaceful Getaway” My family of four really enjoyed this place! It's clean and comfortable, and beautifully decorated. None of us could decide which bedroom we liked better, the one with the beautiful bed and the twinkle lights, or the cool loft. We enjoyed having the multi-level deck leading down to the water, and of course constant access to the lake. If there were other people around, we didn't hear them -- it was nice and peaceful here. Oh, and the outdoor shower was a big hit, too! This was a great place to get away from the stresses of home and work, unplug, and just relax.

“Quiet cabin in the woods with hikes nearby” Camp Hatteras is a real find and served our purposes very well. We were two couples who get together once a year for a hiking trip, this time in the Adirondacks. The cabin is indeed quiet and there is no sight nor sound of humans anywhere close. It is very close to the VIC (Visitor Interpretive Center) at Paul Smith’s College, which has several delightful trails through the woods and the wetlands. Also, many other trails are near. The owners live nearby and were at our door within a few minutes when we mentioned a couple of small issues. They were dealt with successfully. The Internet isn’t blazing fast, but works. The cabin shows that it is well-cared for and clean. I am so glad we chose to stay here rather than in the congestion of Saranac Lake or Lake Placid (the lake may be placid but the town isn’t).

“Great winter get-a-way!” Our family of 4 stayed in the winter and had a great time!! Plenty of space and so very fun!! Perfect location for skiers! Only 5 min. from Royal Mt! We were skiing everyday and back at Robin's nest at night! The gas fire places make it warm and toasty!! I was worried that it may be drafty and chilly but it wasn't at all!! Love the decor! Rustic, yet whimsical and chic!! I have only 2 very minor negatives, the stairs would not be suitable for very small children and the King size bed is very, very, very firm. Other than those 2 tiny things, everything else was simply perfect!!! We had lots of fun playing pool and enjoying the open concept layout! I would absolutely stay again and not hesitate to recommend to anyone!! Love the tile "wood" floor in the downstairs bath (by the way the bathrooms are fantastic, clean, modern, spacious!) You will thoroughly enjoy your stay!! Ps, I have no idea what it's like in the summer as we only stayed in winter :)

“Great times at O'Cottage” After going to Keuka Lake for many years and staying in cottages with long hikes to the water and noisy neighbors next-door, O'Cottage is my favorite. The reason I like it so much is the privacy and the location (my boys and I all like to fish and we can fish off the dock and from the rowboat). The cottage has two beaches that are easy to swim in from. The fishing is excellent from the swim platform. It was fun hiking in the woods to collect firewood and smore sticks for our nightly bonfire. The campfire is right near the water and it is so pretty at night. The lake is about a mile wide at this point and we had a family challenge to swim across it. The lake is very quite on the weekdays and it was like having the entre lake to ourselves. The interior of the cottage was charming, with a mix of highend and rustic. With three separate living rooms that could be shut with doors for privacy, it was easy to find a place to do what we wanted. The counter to having the house at lake level is that the driveway is very steep, which was difficult for my mom to walk up, so we drove her up the driveway instead whenever we left the property. The owner was quick to respond to my questions and very easy to work with. We rented a pontoon boat and took a day trip to Hammondsport, which is a really cute little town. It was fun to see the amish people in town driving their horse and buggy. I regret not stopping in Watking Glen to see the waterfall there - I heard it was amazing.

“Cheers to New Year's Eve!” we were searching for a place to rent a few years ago for a long new year's eve weekend, and came across angela's full moon farm. we loved the fact it was a green house and were intrigued by the pictures. we arrvied to find a place that was truly magical -- a toasty retreat tucked back from the road amid newly fallen snow. there were six of us, and we had a fantastic time cooking in the chef's kitchen (great stove!), reading in one of several cozy corners, and going for midnight dips in the hot tub. it's also close to a picture-perfect little 1820s town called rensslearville that you must check out while you're there. really a perfect getaway. (and we've been back twice since!)

“Great place, great time no matter the season” I've stayed at this cabin during both summer and winter, both times pre hot tub, however, both times I had a wonderful experience. During the summer, I enjoyed taking short walks taking in the views and landscape and then the tough decision was deciding which grill to use (gas or coal). During the winter, I made great use of the fireplace and loved lounging indoors while enjoying the view of the surrounding ski slopes. All in all, it's a great place and can't wait to go again, this time to try out the hot tub!

“Well-equipped, newly updated, clean Adirondack house.” This was a great Adirondack house for our family of 7 and two doodles. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. The house was very well equipped, nicely updated with a great master bedroom and bathroom and a newly updated kitchen. The location was convenient for all things around Upper Saranac lake.

“so much to do starting at the dock behind the cottage on Horseshoe pond” so many canoe & kyack lakes, ponds and streams a short distance from here. everything you would need is in Malone 15 mi. away, not a small town.

“Great Stay” My wife and I went for our honeymoon & it was an awesome experience. We were looking for a quiet and relaxing place to stay and that is just why we got. Annie and John are great hosts and have a ton of information about the area. The cottage is just enough for a couple or small family. Highly recommend!
