“Wonderful family getaway” What a great vacation home, with everything you could possibly want. A beautiful waterfront view to enjoy sunrise and sunset everyday. A wonderful pool,fire pit on the river and a dock to fish. We found the location great for visiting Niagara falls and Canada, and some great sights and restaurants.Glenn is a wonderful owner and is very helpful with places to eat, see and shop. We would highly recommend this vacation home we had such a wonderful time with our family.

“Quiet cabin in the woods with hikes nearby” Camp Hatteras is a real find and served our purposes very well. We were two couples who get together once a year for a hiking trip, this time in the Adirondacks. The cabin is indeed quiet and there is no sight nor sound of humans anywhere close. It is very close to the VIC (Visitor Interpretive Center) at Paul Smith’s College, which has several delightful trails through the woods and the wetlands. Also, many other trails are near. The owners live nearby and were at our door within a few minutes when we mentioned a couple of small issues. They were dealt with successfully. The Internet isn’t blazing fast, but works. The cabin shows that it is well-cared for and clean. I am so glad we chose to stay here rather than in the congestion of Saranac Lake or Lake Placid (the lake may be placid but the town isn’t).

“Love this house” Friends and I really enjoyed our time at Marble Mountain Chalet. The leaves were at their peak so the hiking was amazing. The house had everything we needed to be comfortable including the gourmat kitchen, sauna,steam shower and hot tub. The fire pit out back was great for hanging in the evening with a few beverages and then sitting in the hot tub and admiring the views of the mountains. The sound of the wolves howling in the morning was one of the eeriest but most beautiful sounds ever. We will definately be back, hopefully for longer then three days.

“enjoy comfort and Historic old house” this house 6 bed rooms 3 bath is very enough for our group. We had a really good time 3 nights 4 days . Hope we can stay here next year fall season again.

“Spectacular rental in Lake Placid!!!” Stunning. From the second we walked in, until the moment we left. This was a family vacation with 4 kids, and the house was the right size. Beds were super comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we could imagine to keep the troops fed and happy for the week. Easy driving distance for skiing, and a comfortable distance into Lake Placid. Between the owners and the local rental agent, we received great care and hospitality. We hope to return soon!!
